I had mission life hack here. In V.I.P mission, after the V.I.P got to the rival taxi. Get out of your taxi and quickly use your sniper to sniping the rival taxi driver before he change his direction. Then just reenter your taxi then drive the V.I.P to his destination and then complete the mission!
Reminds me of a trick I used for the rescue Lance mission in the junkyard Just fly in with a helicopter, circle the hangar from the rear and then fly Lance out I remember it was such a nerve wrecking mission when I was a kid, but with a bit of strategy its a cakewalk
Good idea making that Vice City longplay Definitive Edition might work this way for PS4, Xbox One X and Series S/X, and Nintendo Switch as those options.
Actually in Definitive Edition the G-Spotlight helicopter trick cannot award a Not My First Time trophy so i will do these tricks except the G-Spotlight

#1 - Did this before already. #2 - Impossible in my PC. #3 - Never done this. #4 - Did this before already. #5 - There was a very rare and weird glitch that happened to my game, as when I was about to steal a taxi after killing the BF Injection's driver, the target took the taxi right before I could take it (I took the taxi from the passenger's side, while the target took it from the driver's side), and this VERY RARE glitch (1/100 chance of happening) caused me to become the passenger (he took me for a ride lol), and the target himself becoming the driver, and once he had left the car already, I was left on the passenger seat, and all I had to do was exit the taxi, and get on it again, so I could drive it.
#2 - if you turn on the frame limiter in the game options you can easily do this. If you play with a custom fps limit (like me, 60 FPS) you can't. #5 - you became a ghost passenger, this is actually quite easy to pull off.
