Great looking bike. My son has the V2 version of the Wildcat and he loves it. I like the White Industries crankset. I had a wheelset that used their hubs and a crankset on a Kona Exposif in the mid 90’s so I like the old school look. Thanks for the video.
That stem is a must have! The flat black on the frame and all the suspension is so cool.you deserve all the support from the bike companies and parts companies. I am so ready to get the advent x, goes it have the new detailed? I’ve just been putting full nx on all my builds because of the cost, but the advent x is even lighter and sounds like it works just as well as nx at least.
It’s sadly not the new derailleur, that doesn’t come out til the end of the summer but I hope to try it then! My only complaint with AdventX is that the clutch isn’t super strong, so you get a bit of chain slap still. I’m hoping they change that on the new o e!
hell yeah man i love the looks of that bike! I've always been curious about DVO suspension too...looks good on there. Can't wait to see some follow-up videos on how it rides! sorry for the dummy question... are these all steel? what's the HTA?
Awesome looking bike! Any idea what the weight came out to after it was built? Yea, I know weight is really not that important here but I’m just curious how it compares.
Thanks man, ya it’s super rad, can’t wait to get it out on the trail! Frame only goes for $1,709 USD. And if you use the code Josh5%off you’ll save an additional 5%. Here’s a link: usd.rsdbikes.com/product/wildcat-v3-aluminum/
Nice bike brother, but most people would definitely consider this a full on trail bike. 65 HTA with that amount of travel is a solid trail bike. There’s plenty of other bikes with less travel that are still considered trail bikes. It’s not just the amount of travel it’s how burly the frame is built and the type of components used as well. Nevertheless Sick bike and video👍
@@ridingwithjoshandwendy haha that’s we’re we have different opinions Josh (but same badass name) Pinkbikes reviews suck! I don’t trust anything they say! If you read there comments a-lot of people think the same.. but another Great example Is the Giant trance 29er F130/R120 there website straight up says this is “not a downcountry bike” with even less travel then the Wildcat🤔
I love that you do your builds right at the trail!
Haha thank you!!
love the crank too 👍

Absolutely man, thanks for the comment 🤙
Dude such a solid video! The cranks and sprocket steal the show😍
Thank you man!! Ya I’m pretty stoked on those!
Awesome cool bike 👍
Thank you!!

No dumb questions haha! It’s an aluminum frame with a 65 HTA
Id love to take that bike for a spin. The numbers are about perfect.
I couldn’t agree more! Planning on getting it out on its first ride this weekend and she have that posted next week!
@@ridingwithjoshandwendy I look forward to the video!

It’s not light haha, I’m guessing around 35 lbs, but haven’t had it on a scale yet
Awesome bike dude!!! MSRP???? Interested in a frame only setup!

@@ridingwithjoshandwendy NICE! Thanks ‼️‼️
Absolutely 🤙🤙
I’ve been riding the advent x since last year and so far so good. A lot lighter that the sram sx i had.
Nice!! Have you had any issues with the derailleur clutch?
@@ridingwithjoshandwendy not really other than the switch is hard to flick . I work a lot of hours so its not like i have 500 miles on it yet .
Whats a downcountry?
It’s a relatively new, relatively sarcastic way to describe a lower travel trail bike/more aggressive XC bike

Ya that’s what’d I’d call it too haha, but I trust the big boys at Pinkbike, and they called it down country, so 🤷♂️🤷♂️

Hahaha good to know man! I could probably use a bit more skepticism in that regard, I’ll be honest that I spend way to much time reading their reviews
How much it weight
