I agree...this man offended me by saying that because I am a big fan of Rick Wakeman and he is a gre 35:44 at stand up comedian....he is loved in England as an outstanding entertainer as well as musician. He was the highlight of that evening!!! In my opinion.
What a foolish thing to say " Rick talked too long"....who are you to b 29:42 e so demeaning to Rick . His talent as a stand up comedian came to the forefront and made a standard boring and awkward presentation into a very joyful occasion. Look how the people laughed and applauded.
It can't really be Yes without Jon Anderson....Davidson just doesn't cut it in my opinion..... nobody has explained what ever happened between Jon Anderson and Steve Howe.....the only thing I heard was in 2008, Jon Anderson became very ill and that made Steve mad and replaced him..... I'm sure I am missing something....but whatever it is, it seems that Steve is the one who is saying never again.....and Jon Anderson has tried to make peace with Steve...... Steve is insisting on his version of Yes..... sadly, Davidson is very weak sounding....he looks good but his voice is dull......on the other hand, Jon Anderson is still around and has a great band called Band Geeks....and they...in my opinion.... sound better than the current Steve Howe version of Yes.... Jon Anderson is singing great still today 2025.....he doesn't need Steve Howe....the Band Geeks are so good...they have a similar energy of the 1972 Yessongs concerts..
The relationship between the two of you brings a special warmth and depth of insights we greatly appreciate.
Jon Anderson is YES

Mirror To The Destruction Of Yes’s Legacy.
I like Steve and his retro pen
Rick didn't talk too long. His was one of the best RRHOF speeches ever.

Absolutely fantastic interview!! Very well done.
Love the pic of you and Steve….1979ish?
Thanks great interview
You need to make up with John Anderson and Rick Wakeman, therein lies. Yes.
Excellent interview 👏
Steve Howe is oblivious to how many refer to the current line up as The Steve Howe band. A poor Yes tribute act. Sad really.

He is such an articulate English gentleman….sometimes live he can appear annoyed (audience screams during acoustic solos especially!).
