Agreed. I think when builders do those in-law/next gen units they really need to do them correctly. I’ve only seen a handful of builders in our area do them correctly. People need to feel like they’re part of the home and not isolated in a little jail cell.
Thanks so much. There’s definitely a lot to unpack in this community. I just wonder what this community and area will look like in 10 years. But this definitely is a dream of a lot of people… Luxury, views and their own private compound away from everything.
As a single young person trying to buy a home, it would be nice if developers would stop building all of their new homes to be so big. Single family homes don't need to be as big as they keep getting, especially 2 story. I grew up in a nice home less than half this size and it was great. I've lived in bigger homes like this and I dislike them personally. I do get though that all of the laws, regulations, and added costs from them has caused developers to only build townhomes or those like this. It's made it so nobody is building smaller family homes like they were in the 70s-90s. El Dorado hills has houses this size for a fraction of the cost and much closer to the greater Sac area with some even overlooking Folsom lake.
i grew up in a 1800 sq ft house and it was just fine for me. In fact we bonded and had family dinners and watched TV together instead of having a TV in every room lol. I would love to see more floor-plans between 1500-1800 sq ft at an affordable price so the next generation doesn't feel that they will never be able to afford a home.
I agree El Dorado Hills has homes this size at lower prices and honestly I am on the fence with the Bickford area. Yes it is nice but it also seems so far away and the mello roos are HIGH. Only time will tell :)

So good! Love the area!
The views are amazing and I really love the floorplans. The area could take a while to develop, but what if it is the new Folsom?
They did a great job with the next gen suite!

That’s a sick house!
I couldn’t have said it better myself
So much great info 🔥

Those views are crazy
Even the drive up had views. Amazing location if you’re looking for luxury and views.
The only tour worth seeing. Thanks Mark
Glad you’re enjoying the tour and we will probably do a few more on this community in the future
What do you think of Tri Pointe up there?
Great floorplans and you can get the homes for about $400,000 cheaper than Toll Brothers
We put two people into homes there and so far so good
How many floorplans are there?
Four currently, but I have heard rumors that they might have a few more ;)
When are builders, especially “luxury”, going to let go of textured walls? 🤦♂️
I agree with you 100%. I’ve even seen homes over $2 million with popcorn ceilings :(
