I am not sure, but I think international students coming to study in the UK with the student visa for Research master's degrees: MPhil (Master of Philosophy) and MRes (Master of Research) and Doctoral degrees: PhD (Doctor in Philosophy), MD (Doctor of Medicine), and various Professional Doctorates can dring dependents along.
