Our Lady of Lourdes Grads & History 1971-1980

Our Lady of Lourdes School was vibrant in the 1970s. Many of the events were first time activities and there was a great deal of fun and laughter while the news was filled with events that would change our lives. Our Lady of Lourdes School in Chicago officially closed in 2004. The Church and grotto remain open as of June 2023 with limited capacity. Our Lady of Lourdes Church combined with St. Mary of the Lake Church in 2021 during the Archdiocese of Chicago Renew My Church. Over 300 alumni gathered in 2021 over 3 days in the school before the building would be sold. Check out the Church virtual tour and alumni farewell videos.
