For audio.. I'd recommend getting a separate good quality audio recorder, don't need to spend alot, I know there are some out there for budgets. I can't suggest any off the top of my head. But I do know there are some.

Or simply just super glue a small dead cat around the hole in the GoPro for the mic, without plugging the holes with glue.
