I know where the intake for the air box is on the crd. When the nose dipped under the water I bet water went in the air box. Very lucky it was only for a short time haha.

My Jeep goes through water like this 2 or 3 times a year, no adverse rust effect - i think it keeps the road salt out from winter tbh.
