Would you be able to replace the seals using this same method, without removing forks from the bike? Or would it be easier just pulling them off…. I’ve got a 25’ 300xc w/5hrs, R/S fork leaked maybe 1/4-1/2 qt of fluid.

I took the forks all the way off about a year later to install new heavy duty seals. Turns out it was pretty easy! I followed this outstanding video from Rocky Mountain ATV, and it went really smoothly.

Going to try this soon. How long has it lasted for? Have you since changed your seals.

It worked for a while but the seal on one side started to leak little bit so I ended up replacing the seal. Rocky Mountain ATV has a great video on how to do that with the 48mm WP forks on these EXCs, with and without the preload adjusters.
