Thanks! Yes the terrain off trail can be difficult and will definitely slow you down compared to a hiking trail. But being in the middle of the wilderness is worth it :)

Hey thanks! Yes, Phil rented a Garmin for us, I don’t remember which model. We thought for a remote hike like this it would be good have one. Luckily we didn’t need it :)

What time of The year is this, and for how long was it Dark during the night
Hi, it was during the first half of August, so roughly 14 hours of sunlight per day. Although it is rare to have a clear sky there
