  • From touring with some of the biggest acts in the music business, to appearing in a music video with the legendary Miles Davis, guitarist Pat Buchanan has seemingly done it all. In our interview with Buchanan, we talk about his early years in Atlanta, his time touring with Cameo and Hall & Oats in the 1980's, his work with Cyndi Lauper in the early 90's, and his move to Nashville to become a part the session scene. We also discuss Pat's current gig with Amy Grant, working on the Nashville television show, and we go in depth about his favorite guitars, effects and amps.

Hey Pat, This is one of your old homies back in Lake City. You are our true hometown hero. We see Mickey from time to time, but you are our legend. The crew are old farts now, but we are very proud of you. Joe Ray, Kent in Tally now. I remember your dalmatian named Stripe. You and I used to hang out in the early days. You are a topic of conversation at our old crews Oyster Roasts. Circle the Wagons parties, reminiscent of several vans in the woods celebrating music. You need a homecoming brother. We miss you. Robin Micheal.

Met Pat in 2008 in Nashville. Such a nice and humble guy and a wonderful player and singer. Saw Pat's band too and they were amazing!

Wow! I'm trying to reconcile this laid-back dude with the twangy/bluesy/country vibe with the BEAST that kicks down the club door and plays that crazy solo while ogling the dancers in the "Back and Forth" video for Cameo. It's a top 5 music video moment for me.
