Driving a car, having a drivers license, is a privilege. Wish more people would see it that way.
@@ceelobrown8606 You are incorrect. Endless examples are right here on yt. The U.S. Constitution and Supreme Court recognize and protect the right to interstate travel. The travel right entails privacy and free domestic movement without governmental abridgement.

Violations of your 1st amendment protected rights are extremely lucrative and even hit them where it hurts without qualified immunity. I recommend everyone who experiences tyranny take the jacket from whatever policy enforcer commitment tyranny against them. Take their jacket, leave them and their family out in the cold.
The best way to stop tyranny is after the fact. But if you do it right you can claim victory on the spot with a camera.
Here in Colorado policy enforcers lost qualified immunity. When copaganda like what you are preaching is used as law, our rights are bypassed at that time we have become a victim.
Policy enforcers are showing they are not capable of the job we have tasked them with. A quick Internet search will show police, sheriff's and deputies all recently put behind bars for anything from child molestation to theft and murder.
Traveling is a right, The Supreme Court has acknowledged this. I could copy and paste in here till we're both blue in the face, or you could easily do some research and find there have been countless examples of right to travel success. I am one of them.
@@Dat_Sun Sorry, but the "right to interstate travel" only says that the federal government or individual state governments cannot stop or hinder you from legally crossing state lines. nowhere does The Constitution guarantee you the right to operate a motor vehicle. you can walk.
@@tymcfadden8496 The following argument has been used in at least three states (Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia) as a legal brief to support a demand for dismissal of charges of "driving without a license." It is the argument that was the reason for the charges to be dropped, or for a "win" in court against the argument that free people can have their right to travel regulated by their servants. These arguments can be used in nearly any state against the state trying to deny a driver's right to travel.Thompson v smith “The right of the citizen to travel upon the public highways and to transport his property thereon, either by carriage or by automobile, is not a mere privilege which a city may prohibit or permit at will, but a common right which he has under the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
When my son turned 16, he asked me to sign for him. I was going to do it, till he said the day before his test, “when I get my license, I’ll be racing on the highway with your sport car mom, I’ll take your keys without you knowing at night”. Guess what? I didn’t sign and told him, “when you are mature get the license yourself, at this moment is my responsibility that you wont hurt yourself or kill someone”.
Weird take from your side. Let him get his license and then teach him proper and responsible driving. How's that idea? Nobody forces you to just hand over your car to him. I don't think people below 18 should be driving alone anyways, because these people are basically kids, which the response of your son shows perfectly. However, there is nothing wrong with teaching them to drive properly, because only practice makes perfect. You can delay this process, but that won't make him a better driver, even when he starts at 25.

I worked in the claims department of a large trucking firm. They were self-insured, so all accidents came to our department. The accidents because of cell phones were horrific. One mom had her young son in the front passenger seat and her infant daughter in a car seat in the rear passenger side. Our driver had blown a tire on the 53' trailer, had properly pulled off the road, set up flares and caution signs behind the tractor/trailer. Mom was looking down at her phone and drifted to the right side. She looked up too late, jerked the wheel to the left, and sheered off the entire right side of her vehicle. The pictures of the bloody car seat in the middle of the highway will never leave my head. 😢
Oh my.
So sad 😢
Could you imagine if the mom survived that? Like, you killed both of your young children because you had to send a text or check something real quick.

My wife and I drove OTR for over a decade, I drove 5 years before that. I've seen plenty of bad accidents and a Lot of stupid drivers, but one that sticks in my head, and I see this girls face in my mind to this day almost 20 years later.
We were going through rush hour traffic on the way out of some large city, it's always fun watching traffic go by.
This blue compact car with 3 young, early 20ish kids come by. The girl in the front passenger seat was bubbly, bouncy, and happy. Smiling and waving, wanting me to blow my horn. When I gave her a couple of blasts of the airhorn, she waved and blew me a kiss, then traffic moved them along down the road.
A couple hours down the road, there was an accident in the median, that blue car was on its crushed roof, it had rolled several times. There were 3 tarp covered bodies still on the ground😢
This is so devastating. As a parent, you should not give your child a car until you are 100% sure that they know the responsibilities and safety needed to operate a vehicle and even then, kids make dumb choices. I didn't get my license until I was 17 and didn't get a car until I was in college. My grandma passed away when I was a freshman and my mom wouldn't let me get behind the wheel because I was devastated by her passing. At the time I was mad, but I'm glad she knew better. I rode the school bus and there actually wasn't many kids that had cars at my school. There was never any pressure to have a car. It wasn't a big deal. Nowadays parents are just giving their kids what they didn't have or want their kids to like them. I'm 33 and my mom still tells me that she not my friend. Praying for family.
I'm from the UK- I think 16 is too young.
I agree. 16 is way too young for such a responsibility.
It's the social media bs! Look at me, fast and....dead
Same here. I didn't get my license until 18. First car was at 23
I have 4 girls. 2 of them are over 20 and 2 are under 14. One is turning 15 soon and she is NOT ready. She is high anxiety….cannot think on her feet well.
I told her already that it would be a slow process allowing her to drive alone. I didn’t do that with my older girls because I didn’t feel that need. Each kid is differnt. Parents, pay attention.
My school used to put the cars of students that crashed due to racing or drunk driving on the front lawn of the school. It made the consequences real for everyone. They dont do it anymore due to it being offensive. Smh
But not as offensive as a dead child. They should bring the cars back
Schools have the "Pat the butt" syndrome!
MADD ( MOTHERS AGAINEST DRUNK DRIVING)would do that in skits to bring the danger of drinking and driving. Not the student actual car. 😅
Our fire stations will bring back the actual cars to the station with MADD and do it before Prom etc. it needs to be done everywhere!
I don't get it. How did the school get the right to those kids property? If you crash your car, it's still your car.
Turning 16 does not REQUIRE a person to get a license. We have 4 children. We made one wait till he was 19. Your welcome America!!
One of mine waited until 18. It was a good choice.
😂😂😂
Thank you.
Isn't it super easy and cheap to get a license in the states?
Ya I feel the same way
I have 4 boys and my oldest will be 21. I just told him now he can start the process to get his license only because I've watched him closely Durning his teenage years and I believe he can handle it.
I know he says this wasn’t a drag racing incident, but I can say as someone who looks at cars every day as part of the insurance claims that looks like a very very high speed type accident. In order to split a car in half he would need to be going in excess of 90 miles an hour. If they weren’t racing, he was super speeding. It takes a lot of force to do that kind of damage to any kind of car.
It really doesn't though givin the fact cars nowadays are made of aluminum it doesn't take much
You can watch offset crash tests and even though those tests are at slower speeds but don't tear cars in half while continuing another 100 feet. They were traveling at an excessive speed. With my years of towing experience, they were doing at least 80 and most likely over 100.
He didn't say it wasn't a drag racing incident. He said we don't know it was one. Meaning legally he doesn't want to get in trouble for saying it was without proof.
I agree with what was written below. A car doesn't get ripped in half like that unless the guys going too fast, way too fast!

You have it all wrong here. I can assume this all, by the price of that car. That kid didn’t earn that car he was gifted it. He didn’t earn it and if this kid was racing; he didn’t have parents that disciplined him. I started driving at 16 after I got a job and earned my car. Gosh forbid my parents caught me acting a fool on the roads. That kids a joke and I’m not surprised he’s dead. It may seem harsh but that’s reality. I may be young but I’m not stupid.
Facts
We were lucky with our son. He always had more sense than his parents at a young age. We told him that just ONE speeding ticket would put him on the shoeleather express, as we could no longer pay for his insurance. He's 26 now and is a better driver than either of his parents.
My High School had a REQUIREMENT: "In Order to Graduate, You MUST Take & PASS both Driver's Education & Drivers Training (Behind the Wheel ) " We watched a Movie called "BLOOD ALLEY" which graphically showed the aftermath of Fatal Car Crashes. 😱 Talk about Scared-Straight ! My Dad was an Insurance Adjuster & I still recall him have me get a close up view of a car after it had been in a wreck : a couple out on a date , he had been drinking, neither had their seatbelt on. There were two large holes in the windshield with hair around the edges . I asked my Dad *Daddy, what's that brownish stuff all over the white front seats ?" "That's their blood . They both died". I've been in a few accidents in my life - every one was caused by the OTHER driver, I've been driving since 1976 , I have a perfect Driving Record. The last accident was caused by a man who was 101 years old; paramedics told me I was very Lucky to be Alive. I spent MONTHS in hospital : after several Total Spinal Reconstructive Surgeries. Told I only had 5% chance I would ever walk again! Two years in a wheelchair, LOTS of Physical Therapy &
By the Grace of GOD - I am walking ( & Swimming) again !! 🙏 Teenagers NEED the REALITY CHECK !! In some areas, High Schools Will Tow the Wrecked Car (that Students Died In After Drinking/Using Drugs & Driving ) and Park it Right In Front of the SCHOOL .

A perfect driving record doesn't mean you drive safely 100% of the time.
No one drives perfect 100% of the time. Everyone has gone over a speed limit even by 5 miles or slightly sped through a yellow and maybe caught a red. Not seen a car in their blind spot I have a perfect driving record, but I'm not a perfect driver.
I can confirm he was speed to be able to tear a car in half

As a retired DMVer I will remind parents that just because their teen turns 16 does not mean they are mature and responsible enough to operate a motor vehicle. You as parents have the right to take a way their child's privilege to get their license at 16. The problem is Mom & Dad do not want to be inconvenienced by having to shuttle their spawn around.
I got my driver's license at 16. Used it for about a year on the job. Let it expire at 18. Didn't renew it until 30. Driving is so easy lol. When I was a kid, it felt weird. At the same time. There was no powered steering, electric braking, etc.
Including these accidents, have been known to happen where said parents buy their kid a brand new car the very minute they turn of age and the first thing the kid goes & does,.. TRUST ME,...
I've seen it happen on the same day they gave the kid the car. The kid goes out and kills themselves and this happens typically when the parents have LOTS of money & typically the parents have bought their kid a car that goes really really fast.

Back in the day, we would watch movies in drivers ed. that showed the aftermath of horrific fatal crashes.
These films were taken immediately after the crash, before the bodies had been removed.
Crushed faces, bodies cut clean in half by an improperly worn seatbelt, small children sprawled out on the street impossibly contorted.
They don't show these anymore, too many folks got offended I guess.
But I will say that when I drive, I check my mirrors, watch the road ahead, leave myself an out and try to find a spot where there aren't to many cars and stay there.
I'm 73 now, and haven't had an accident beyond a fender brnder or two, none of which was my fault.
Seeing the carnage first hand sobers you up.
They should show the results of a crash to every new driver. The consequences are severe.
I am 75, and I remember those movies, too. We had Drivers Ed in school, took many driving lessons with our teacher, had driver's test on the road, too.
I remember watching those and having pictures of the closeups passed around and it has stayed with me 33 years later. I can still see them in my head and if the kids these days didn’t have parents who were so butt-hurt over everything then they too might be able to see something similar and they would know exactly what to expect when you don’t tak driving seriously

No. Do you know how long it takes a car to reach 140mph? Now add even more time and distance if it’s not a high horsepower car. I’ve been 200+mph in the quarter mile. It takes a lot of HP. And for a bimmer to do it( and most of the can’t) it would take along time.

Those parents who, even knowing that their children are not responsible enough yet, still let them go out with because they want their children to feel free. I am truck drivers and there are many young people that I see involved in very ugly accidents. My children are 17 and 18, they have a license but they aren't driving around because they have not yet shown me they're responsible enough.
You are very wise, and the true definition of a parent! Most kids really aren't mature enough to take on such incredible responsibility at 16, or even 17, and some may still not be ready at 18 or even 19! My parents made us wait til 17, and we were allowed to drive with any friends in the car for 1 entire year. When it came to my kids, my oldest can't drive due to being on autism spectrum and is unable to react quickly and calmly to changing situations. My middle child is 27, also on the spectrum but much less affected however he can't bring himself to accept the responsibility of driving, so does not yet want a licence. My youngest was ready in her opinion at 16, but not in my opinion. We waited til she was almost 21 and had to finally get a licence and a car as she had to move out of town for last 2 years of college. Probably waited longer than needed with her, but by then she was fully mature and much more responsible, plus she was then able to pay for her own insurance, gas, maintenance and even part of the cost of the car, so she was more aware of the costs involved with the responsibility of driving a car. Yes, I had to be willing to drive them around longer, but feel that is part of my responsibility as a parent, to get my child to the age of an adult alive, and that may mean we need to be willing to admit we need to raise the age we allow children to get licences to start driving cars, as most 16 and 17 year old teenagers really aren't ready for such enormous responsibility.

I don’t hate police for catching speeders, I hate them for beating innocent people and getting away with it
I think the point is that speeding is determined by the area not the science. Most speeders are caught to feed the budget of the state county or city. And also to attemot to catch people who may have additional charges that can be levied on them. Yes the policing helps to moderate, but that is not the main goal. Or they would not set quotas.

I bet the lawyers will somehow blame the landscaping company
They will but his speed will ultimately tell the true story.
Yuppp cars have similar to a black box for airplanes it’ll reveal his speed
@@andresgarcia1520
You're pulling that black box nonsense out of your ass.
That landscaping trailer took that hit like a boss
Its a killer omgoodness
That trailer is probably loaded with equipment. Looks like it just peaked that BMW off
🤣🤣
That’s probably why the bimmer got so shredded, all the force went one way
This is from Abc7 news! The driver of this car was shot and killed in a separate event!
--------------------------
An 18-year-old who was shot and killed in Forestville on Thursday was the driver of the car that crashed in Upper Marlboro killing a Wise High School student in March, sources tell 7News.
In March, Cayliy Haygood, of Upper Marlboro, was the passenger in a vehicle that struck the rear of a landscaping trailer on Ritchie Marlboro Road, police said. She was pronounced dead on the scene by first responders.
In March, Cayliy Haygood, of Upper Marlboro, was the passenger in a vehicle that struck the rear of a landscaping trailer on Ritchie Marlboro Road, police said. She was pronounced dead on the scene by first responders.
The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old male student at Wise, suffered non-life-threatening injuries following that crash, police said.
Investigators determined that the driver was speeding and attempting to pass the landscaping truck when they clipped the back of the trailer
Later the driver was a victim of a fatal carjacking when armed teens shot him in a struggle for refusing to give up his car.
You can see that guys lup quiver a bit and he's holding back emotion. He has a heart. Poor young man to lose his life over a stupid race 😢
No lip quiver
Yea don't see any
What lip?
The driver (young man)…didn’t die. His girlfriend who was in the passenger seat was killed. I have no sympathy for him.
@@michaelp.139yet you have sympathy for the person that chose to hop in the passenger side? Sounds kinda flawed if he just took off and she was screaming "let me out" i could understand if not its stupidity on both ends driver should face voluntary vehicular manslaughter
why do i live in a world where i can search up the most innocent things and come across this
Holy..... I don't think I've ever seen a car split in half like that. That car must have been going outrageously fast. Honestly stuff like this makes me feel like there should be cars specifically designed for teens. Tops out at 65 takes 15 seconds to get there. Honestly the recklessness of people is insane to me.
And here comes the law suits stating the truck was in the wrong and the kid was just driving down the road at a 100 miles an hour
facts
Nobody is gonna say that…NOPE…
Absolutely devastating my condolences to the family that's a horrific horrific site
How does a car just split in half like that..
DUDE SWERVED HIS TRAILER INTO THAT CAR.... YOU CAN LOOK AT IT AND SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE VIDEO.
Need to sue the Maker of that car for being unsafe
Wow! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that much intrusion into the passenger compartment before.
There must have been a crazy amount of force in this crash. Someone was really hauling!
So sad and sorry to the parents and love ones of that high school child coming into an adult. RIP ❤️🌺💞HI
What a shame. Condolences to the friends and family.
That’s sad, the BMW didn’t deserve that
Similar right in front of me & I screamed at the guys loading the parked vehicle to get out of the way. I saved 2 men from being cut in half… car buried itself up to the windshield under the truck.
Horrified me.
I think everyone's question is....
Whats the brand of that trailer? For it to take a hit like that a split a car in to two is incredible!
And here I am wondering about who makes BMW windshield wipers system. Half the car is gone and they still functioning.
I thought the same, It must be loaded with dirt or something
No one feels a enclosed trailer with dirt haha and they where both moving in the same direction and take in to account the truck pulling the trailer and that it has the curb on one side
@@scottlefaux tbf if the battery is on the non damaged sides depending on how its wired it could have two different directions on which way the whires go and if the keys in it still turned will keep the battery on cor certai. Time as long as the ignition switches fuses and relays. Are untouched it should keep the battery running juice consistently to the remaining untouched wires
@@scottlefaux which is even crazier because some bmw's when you turn the wipers on it actually turns the turn signal on and honks the horn
The windshield wiper lasted longer than the driver 😂
Holy crap. BrightView services my condo community and I just left them a 5 star review last night. Was just recommended this. Incredibly hard working landscapers, do a fantastic and diligent job, very nice people, and every time I've seen them throughout my neighborhood (Montgomery Run of Ellicott City and the surrounding communities) they pull their trucks as close to the curb as they can, with plenty of cones. I am so sorry to the employees of this company who had to experience this foolish driver's idiocy. That's something that would affect me for life. BrightView does fantastic work. Hope this hasn't affected their business
RIP YOUNG ONE
My Deepest Condolences to the Family an Friends

God bless all the people on this earth 🌍
I'm sorry this happened no matter what the circumstances. I feel sorry for the parents. My kid is 4 and loves speed and swings and everything that makes my gut wrench.
People must be aware that speed and cel do not make any better life.
I'm 36 and have no desire to get a license.
Respect people on the road or wherever and you’ll be fine
God bless the SOUL OF THAT KID!
I want to thank my parents for teaching me and my siblings to be humble at the wheel. I have a hard time feeling bad for stupid young drivers..I do feel awful for their families though 😢
It may not have been a street race but it was definitely speeding. He didn’t deserve it, but he earned it.
Question: Can you earn something that you don't deserve?🤔 Real question though. I'm actually researching this now.
This is so sad. A college mate lost his best friend this way into the back of a trailer. He went through the court and punishment process. He eventually returned to school and graduated. But he was devastated at the loss of his friend. Even being so close to the people involved, none of us could fathom what he was going through.
Remember, drivers education gave you a pink slip to get your license, showing you knew how to drive
Does NOT PROVE YOU ARE SENSIBLE.
THIS 1 WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT.
The car is torn in half. There is absolutely zero chance that kid wasn't speeding. Lord Jesus may the young girl who passed away rest in peace. Smh I made my son wait until he was 19 because I was afraid of this very kind of thing. I was an auto claims adjuster for 10+ years. Most young drivers just don't understand the severe consequences of speeding, staring at your phone screen while driving or just being distracted in general then there are the OTHER distracted, entitled, bully drivers that think they own the road. Its very dangerous on the road.
that’s what happens when you get your kid the exact vehicle he wants
you gotta humble them and get them a cheap car to start off
Nah I started with a Beamer and It taught me how to actually drive
@@bronnyblair6204 bronny……. I hope that isn’t your really name. Do yourself a favor and delete the Y

Not sure how that helps but go right ahead and think that way if it helps you. Remember, a Hyundai Accent can go fast enough to kill you too.
My Sincere Condolences to his family. I'm Sorry for your loss. 😔
With the amount of damage to that car, that is a high speed impact. I'm so sorry for the passenger.
That company works in Virginia too. I hope that trailer protected the driver. How can I not think car driver was reckless.
*The kid was definitely speeding. Normal speeds do not do that damage. People blame cops for racing/takeovers becoming a problem, but also blame cops for "slacking off" when they actually do something about it because they could've been "solving real crimes".*
I see so many idiots racing on the freeway that I no longer stop to help them when they crash.
Nobody cares son 🎉
@@GODSWORD11 I bet if you were in a wreck, trapped in your car and it was burning and he slowed down to make eye contact, then drove away, yea you would care, no doubt about that.

I'm so sorry for the loss of the high school student. Condolences to family and friends🙏🛐😢
Definitely a PRIVILEGE and NOT a RIGHT
I have a teen at home and he already knows when he’s 20 he can start driving on his own. In the meantime we take the time to take him wherever he needs to go. I know that’s not going to prevent the problem but at least he will be more mature when he gets behind the wheel.
it is a shame that a young life with a great potential was ended so soon
Prayers for all involved. My first stepfather was PD. He had nightmares of some of the scenes he worked.
I feel you my grandfather was OPP and could not celebrate Christmas because of something he witnessed on that day.
How many stepfather's you have😂

I hear ya. My 17th stepfather was a fireman and he had some stories for sure.
Schools really need to bring back Driver Ed. The 5hr. course isn't enough.
Instant accountability. Must have been going 100 mph to do that kind of damage.
Can we all take a minute to admire how well built that trailer is? Ate half a car and could probably still drag it back to the shop lol
Damn bro, I thought this comment was gonna be like “Let’s take a minute of silence to mourn the loss of another young man!!” Or something of that nature, but instead you turned it into a joke smh. @@davidsimon6117 yeah that too🙏🙏🙏
@@davidsimon6117 Nah bruh. I'm sure PLENTY of people mourned him. You know how it is when someone that age dies. A thousand people come to the funeral and everyone talks about how he was basically a saint or angel on earth. Never did anything wrong or unkind and was nice to everyone, even stray puppies.
I swear every time I watch a video where a young adult dies and what they say about him, I feel like writing to Pope Francis to begin canonization proceedings!
This is why you don’t give a 17 year old a 70k Beamer. These parents need to be held accountable for the dumbass decisions their kids make that they enable them to do. Too bad this kid died
why should parents be held liable for their almost grown son driving a car legally, he would’ve sped in any car and kids need to get places too and people have parents that work
Unless the kid was a drug dealer and bought it himself....
A young life lost way before his/her time. This is sadness beyond believe. RIP.
Not sad to me
Too many idiots in this world, he had to go
I was indifferent to getting my license at 16… then at 17 when I wanted to I was basically told to kiss that thought goodbye; if I couldn’t even put in the effort or attention to get B’s in school, what made them think I’d put in the effort and attention to be a responsible driver
Finally got my license when I was 20 (in 2001
Totaled that car 10 months later (‘82 civic sedan… still ran, but the damage done was deemed too much to justify repairing it by my insurance)
Then I got a brand new Tundra in ‘02 when I was 22… 2 years later I totaled it…
I’ve had my 2004 Tundra ever since, but that’s not to say he’s made it this far unscathed
My folks absolutely made the right call delaying my license, and none of my accidents were inherently speed related
(I fell asleep in the ‘02 Tundra and ended up accelerating, but speed was not the primary factor, it was falling asleep)
Wiper still works 👍
That's terrible 😂
Bruh why is that?? Always wipers going no matter how bad the car got hit.
That and the car alarm! 🤣🤣🤣
Yes, you are right. It could be worse.
Oh my gosh! And this is why you should never let a kid get a car with a ton of horsepower.
That's one tough windshield wiper!
Thats what i noticed too how the hell is it still working after that
I'm 60 and I think of what kind of driver I was when I was 17 and I shutter. Raise the driving age to 18.
Maryland proving once again, that they have the worst drivers in the country.
