Top Kek depends how you think about it. It probably is seen as it currently, because a lot of people remember OJ more. I know the Nuremberg trials went on for years though, but people witnessed OJ at the time, and it feels more fresh? My mum remembers watching the car scene live for example so she’ll feel more involved in it, whereas not many people alive now remember the nazis. Looking back the Nuremberg will be more significant, but currently OJ is more relevant because alive people remember it unfolding in front of them.

OJ Simpson got away with murder, because the black community that was on the jury, let him off. It was basically in retaliation, for all the police issues in Los Angeles. LA had a string of arrests in the black community, that basically kicked off the LA Riots. So the city was pretty much at a boiling point. OJ was pretty much let go, because it was revenge. There has been actual jurors who’ve said in recent years, that they knew OJ did it, but wanted to get back at the police. The same goes for those in the black community, who have been interviewed years later.
But the police are also to blame, because they handled the case horribly. They didnt secure the crime scene properly. They contaminated the evidence. Basically they had a slam dunk case. We know OJ 100% did it. But because they did such a horrible job securing the evidence and keeping things focused, they pretty much left themselves open to ruining the whole thing. Like even if the “racial” issues were not present, they always risked losing the case due to the atrocious way they handled everything. They were incompetent. Actually reminds me a lot of the Ramsay case in the 90s, where so much of the evidence was lost, due to them not securing the crime scene. Due to them allowing the father to go back into the house and go through all the rooms as well as other people (again contaminating the evidence). Just horrible police work.
As far as the infamous glove moment, not only was OJ wearing plastic gloves to not contaminate the evidence and holding his thumb back, but the glove was actually soaked in blood that dried over time (of course). Scientists have said that due to the glove being leather, and the way it was stored, the blood soaked glove would have shrunk. So the whole idea that if it doesn’t fit him in that moment, he must be innocent, is absolutely insane. The whole thing was a ruse. Doesn’t even get into the fact that it’s illogical, as a killer could have wore a glove that was too small while killing. But again, the Police (or I guess in the case of the court, the DA) completely dropped the ball.
The thing that is concerning, is all the people that seem to forgive OJ. This is an evil man. I wish people would actually look at the crime scene photos, and see what he actually did. He pretty much decapitated his ex wife. He didnt just murder them, he flew into a rage and cut so deep into her neck, that her head almost came off. He stabbed the bodies gruesomely beyond repair. This man shouldnt even be free right now. Let alone, he shouldnt be on social media getting attention. We as a society are sick, for treating this man as someone worth listening to. He’s a horrible piece of shit. While I understand the racial issues in LA, he shouldnt have been let free because of the actions of others.
OJ trial should not have been held in Los Angeles. It should have been moved to another city, with a jury that was not biased about local police/ race issues. And lastly, this was the first “reality tv” trial, where the media covered the whole thing as a television show. This just further amped the attention it was getting, and fueled those that wanted to retaliate against the police. I again cant stress enough, I am not saying the police were great, or worthy of respect. LA had a lot of corruption and issues. And as i said, the police absolutely were incompetent and butchered this case from top to bottom. But at the end of the day, OJ was guilty. Not just of a pretty crime, but of absolute carnage. I don’t say this lightly, but there is “murder”...and the complete desecration of another person. This was a vicious, and heinous murder of two people. And in no way shape or form, should this man be walking around free.
There was probably at least 1 that refused to vote guilty, and i would guess that person was threatened or intimidated by OJs cronies. In the US Justice system you have to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that a person committed the crime, its not just a matter or whether or not you think they did it... its true that after the verdict was read blacks were partying in the street and felt proud that a black man could murder a white woman and get away with it.

Bill you might be right in the old days but without actual evidence you can’t prove anything about it but what you are saying is false if it was not justified then those police should be in jail for however long justice should be served. However, whenever a police officer tells you to put the gun down or put your hands up or drop the thing in your hands you have to realize he is not wanting to kill you he is scared of you and is wanting to make it back home to his family so you better do what the fuck he says. Any racist cop deserves to go to prison but to say they get let off the hook is a blatant lie there are corrupt police officers but there are also good cops I hope all the bad cops that do horrible things get what’s coming for them but having disrespect for the police is fucking stupid.

The reason the glove didn’t fit is because it was a leather glove and it wasn’t found until a couple weeks into the investigation, therefore it had been rained on and went through the weather causing it to shrink.
