Just bought the machine and the store helped me. But, next day, I did both bobbin and thread wrong. Your video was super helpful! What a nice style and so many great details from real-life sewing.
I’m wondering if you can help me. My needle just started hitting the front of the plate. I’ve tried changing the needle, adjusting the tension and changing the stitch. Any other ideas???
unfortunately, based on that information, it Sounds like your needle bar got knocked out of alignment. I would recommend taking it to your nearest sewing machine dealer to have it looked at
Ultimately yes, but it's not something we can recommend you do yourself. there are lots of oil points inside machines that should be oiled about once a year by a technician.
On my Allegro there is a screw on the back of the machine. Take that out and you can carefully open the case to get at the thread path. I had some thread break and get caught so had to figure that out. I would think the Jazz is the same. My Janome is also the same.
Got my Jazz for Christmas and I love it.

What is the name of the foot to put the needle in
Is there another place on the machine that needs to be oiled other than the bobbin area?

I want to open the thread and needle body? On my singer it just swings open?
