Years ago before my daughter was born I dated a graffiti artist who was well known in the 80's. He was a bit "quietly" wild you could say. He now is a "professional artist" and sells to celebrities, etc. Well, for Christmas (our only one together) he bought me a few gifts that all fit together with a "theme" but I did not get it at the time. This bottle of perfume (Vera Wang) was the last gift I opened and I was pretty surprised as I would not have guessed he would have picked something out like this for me to wear. I think in retrospect, it said a lot about him. So much of his personality was missed on me at the time. We broke up a few months later, of course...and I met my daughter's father a month after that and fell madly in love in one night with him! lol This bottle ended up being put into the donation pile when my daughter was born and we needed more room in our apartment. However, it haunts me still. Go figure.
My dad got this for my mother once; she found it decidedly masculine and gave it to me. I finished the whole bottle without realizing I was wearing a feminine perfume...now I'm a gent who rocks floral fragrances, even the ones that come in pink bottles
Recently I bought this too.... I find it quite heavy/strong at the first spray(top notes)..... But after 2hrs Or more its getting softer and in short, its quite long lasting on my skin, feminine and signature scent worthy for 30's above I think, not for younger ones. Mature, elegant.
I used this fragrance for many many years❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗 I don’t agree with the comments that it is to strong and “flowery”. It’s one of my favorite fragrances.. unfortunately now it is hard to find it.. to me it smells a tiny bit fruity with some flowers thrown in and I also smell something warm.. a classic fragrance..
It goes to show how every one's scent sensitivity and pH is so different. I've been using this perfume since it was released. It is my every day non intrusive "subtle" go to. I suffer from migraines and yet, this does not bother me on the slightest. I have quite a sensitive sense of smell and didn't think this was strong at all, at the contrary and hence why I use it everyday to work. My only issue with it is that it doesn't last at all. I have a difficult time with fragrances as my pH tends to completely chance the scent of most perfumes. It's a nightmare to go perfume shopping for me.
I have this perfume and the truly pink, same bottle. This one is too strong though. I feel its for more mature women. Its too serious. I used to like it when it was first released. But I haven’t reached out for it for many years now. The Truly Pink is more bright and wearable.
It certainly did on me! But as I always say, everyone's skin is different. This certainly wasn't a weak perfume on me though. White florals tend to have have a lot of punch!

I just purchased this, this past Friday love it enough to buy the Parfum version.... Reminds me of a more floral version of Forever by Mariah Carey
How is the parfum version. Do you have the pure parfum gel or ure parfum liquid? I am considering buying a parfum version.

Just came across this ..wear this perfume now 2022 as I did many years ago..on me it lasts all day and dry down is beautiful
This perfume is beautiful. The men's is nice too but this one always stayed with me.
