As Brandon Carter said, if you want to wake up early then you have to go to bed early. Track everything you do! & Operating with less than 7 hours of sleep on a daily basis will drastically start to affect you.
Not for everyone, I know a guy operating on 4 - 5 hrs of sleep a night he been doing that for soo long. I dunno how he functions like that, I can't 😮💨🤣
@jasoncalisthenics Was he prior service?
If you are Not Tracking You Are slacking
Idc what he says.. he’s on testosterone soo of course he’s going to be geared up ready to go at all times feeling great
this is true, worked two jobs for 2 months and it started to hit me this week
These videos are way better than the red pill ones
Well he did collab with Myron in one of his old videos 😅
WAY BETTER. He might of got me
Back on his channel. I’ve been done with the redpill
@@cwavygaming6615facts
Wait he talks about the dating game too? I don’t give af about that shit. I want to be in shape.
@@Fonz128 yea he started off as fitness content then he shifted to the redpill I left his channel for a few years I got so sick of the redpill I was consuming too much of it.. but this new content right here is GOLD
I literally wake at 5:00am everyday 🏋️
I wake up at 5 but that’s because I got to be to work at 7am
@@JustinSharpe-h9h You wake up at 5am for self improvement, I wake up for work. We are not the same...
Is that about right haha
@@myfakinusername Lmao fr. I wake up at 4:30 am to do martial arts before work, so I guess I'm even better than you apparently
@@derrickrobinson7269 🤣
Youre delusional. He is probably better than you cuz he works
I wake up at 3:30am go to work all day , hit the gym , meal prep then do it all over again 5-6 days a week. 25-30k steps a day with work and gym combined , overall healthy diet . People be talking to me like it’s impossible.. nah just discipline and consistency . Now it’s effortless
like me, blue collar job?
3:30am wake up, fruits + coffee
3:45am gym + commute to gym
4:30am hygiene, breakfast (eaten on commute to work)
5am commute to work, eat, read 1 chapter of bible
6am work
2pm commute home
then the vices n unproductivity begins tbh lol
@@RasLunacybrother gotta replace that time after 2PM with something else so you’re not tempted to do things that hurt your progress
@@D34DT34M you aint wrong.
@@RasLunacyfrom the looney mark Wahlberg school ? Wake at 2.30am & pray,eat & workout ? Sounds really normal ...mmm~
You also have to go sleep early too.
These are the types of videos I like!
I feel the reason for checking your phone and engaging in "unproductive" habits AS SOON AS YOU WAKE UP, might actually be because you wake up kind of late, it's like the day has started and you missed out. And that's where FOMO (fear of missing out) comes to play, it could be group chats, social media posts, you actually get notified of the world having woke up before you.
A good quote i heard idk from where about waking up early: "wake up before the world, unbothered"
The tough part is not knowing the point. Anything I impose on myself is self imposed and so I have to ask myself why I would choose anything and I can't come up with a satisfying answer. Ted Kazinsky wrote about this. His main point was that we were evolved to get satisfaction from survival and just living was enough. However we have delegated our survival to technology and now we are struggling to find meaning since we no longer get our meaning from simply surviving and living. In order to cope with this we make stuff up like working out but deep down we are always facing a subtle existential crisis because we know we don't have to and it's just a choice. We struggle with whether we are making the best choices and whether all choices are arbitrary.
You're absolutely correct. Your comment should be at the top.
thx for being relatable. means a lot
True
Waking up early for Fajr every morning Alhumdulillah. It helpse get everything done early.
I’m already a early bird waking up every day 4:50AM I love the mornings also in some parts of the world when you do wake up early in the morning it’s a fresh air feel and smell that you can only get in the early mornings
bro that’s what i was thinking, i usually wake up late but i had worked an event with some friends one time , i got up at 5-6am with little sleep but once that cold water hits showering and you go outside it feels so fresh and peaceful and the day really feels longer too
I like the direction of the channel bro. It’s like a video journal
These types of videos you’re doing are very relatable and have a chill vibe🤝✅
I've found that everyone knows exactly what to do they just don't want to do it. I used to think it was a lack of info type thing but nah, putting your health to a detriment is the wave lol
I love my grandpa routine, sleep at 8.
waking up early is a huge deal sometimes. There is no competition in the morning, Early bird gets the worm.
a light workout (1 or 2 sets) first thing in the morning really wakes me up
waking up early you will naturally be sleepy af by 9pm
This is facts
I personally think 11-7 is the most optimal and the sweet spot for sleep
Not everyone has the luxury of waking up that late
4:24 to 4:45
Well said, Austin.
This reminds me of what Musashi Miyamoto has said.
"It may seem difficult at first, but *everything* is difficult at first."
I start working at 8 am. When I moved down to Florida at the end of May, I started waking up at 4:30 am. Overtime, since my lifestyle has so much cardio involved, along with us losing sunlight, I started waking up at 6:30 am latest. Still very productive, and I immediately walk 1 mile to the YMCA to get my hygiene ready to go to work. It feels very nice, especially since I can watch the sunrise on the walk.
Austin changing tides with his content
Who's watching this at 4.45am??
Love the new content you've been dropping. For me, working towards improving my sleep also has been a big topic lately. Sometimes, I find it hard to shut down in the evening bcuz I drank pre-workout before hitting the gym. But I'll find a solution to that. Trusst!
Have no other choice but to wake up at 0450 everyday, it’s definitely beneficial for feeling “alive”, everyday seems like a great journey.. rah 🇺🇸
I used to wake up at like 10-11am last year but I didn't like how the day felt going by fast while I do stuff. Couple months ago I began experimenting what time would likely be better for me and I find waking up 8-9am was just better. It's great because I have classes at 12 so I have enough time to do my morning routine, check assignments or anything that's necessary. After that I workout and do more school stuff or start pursuing my real hobbies.
I agree I seem to get way more stuff done when I wake up early but when I have the day off and I wake up at 9 and leave the house at 10 or 11 the gym is perfect because barely anyone is there. When I go later its the rush hour crowd and its actually packed early in the morning too for the work crowd.
Watching this video after staying up playing video games is wild😂 aye I was productive today
When I walk up early 530 am I drink C4 which unfortunately always puts me on the toilet then I feel the tingly sensation then do my split work out. I’m not an expert but I have noticed me getting stronger. I eat 4-3 eggs and spinach and my supplements after my workout.
AD your videos are always awesome. This new direction tho is lit. Very insightful
These new video formats are a bomb. Voiceover watching a workout. Nice
These dudes probably get up early to work out just to prove a point n sleep after.. must be nice..
I remember 1stman once advocating sleeping 1 hour per night for a certain amount of time to build a buisness up etc.... That's a sure way to cause brain rot, psychosis and possibly get into a car accident, not to mention being moody will push people away from you.
Early bird gets the worm
And the best squat rack!
I wake up every morning at 5am. I love seeing the world come alive as the sun rises.
i really need to wake up early, i’m usually a person that wakes up late but i had worked an event with some homeboys, i had to wake up 5-6am then pick up my friend. after a cold shower & going outside it was so fresh & peaceful in the morning that im actually wanting that feeling again. it’s literally like a breathe of fresh air & the day is actually longer too.
Waking up at sunrise natural circadian rhythms will prob lead to longer life and more health being up overly early is kind of not it
ngl, thought you been going to the gym in the mornings, the morning is the best part to go cause it’s a habit that you develop and it gives you more energy for the day💯
I fw this content
“Progressive Overload your sleep!” always appreciate your perspective & openness brother.
Messin w this type of content Austin keep it up
For me waking up isn’t the issue it’s getting up haha ( I wake up @ 4:55 am every day but then I just go back to sleep until I wake up again at 7 )
Really like the content you've been uploading recently. How's your boxing training coming along? Would love to see an progress update. God bless.
Start more self improvement videos hamza is gone steal all his viewers 😂
Only thing keeping me from a normal sleep routine is two shifts at my job, so goodbye sleep
that means going to bed at 9-10pm? what about business meetings? during the day?
I wake up at 6am everyday and be at the gym for 7am before my work day starts :)
Ive been getting up early and hitting the gym this week and its been a game changer
Damn your videos are now watchable
I agree. Now we need some more flexing vids :o)
10:03 bro's lookin way to handsome🤣
Im done working out at 5:30
liking these new vids bro keep it up
Great content thank you
I wake up 3am 6 days a week and start working 4:15am. It’s crazy how much you can get done if u wake up early. The only day I wake up late (8am) is Sundays. And I value that sleep trust me 🤣
Can you do a video on sleep habits or sleep disorders
I don’t know it that is necessarily ‘first thing’ in the morning. You give your body a few hours to adjust before hitting the actual gym.
Great info!
Let’s go🔥
IDK, it depends on your lifestyle.
For those who leave work at 8-9PM, it’s really hard to wake at 6PM and maintain a good sleeping pattern
Gotta say you’re one of my favorite RUclipsrs, my calisthenics journey started with your pull up tutorials. Just appreciating
4:00AM bro, I like being up early in addition to the couple hours I get to myself before the fam wakes up to get ready
Bro I need a new weight belt for weighted calisthenics, what brand is that?
🔥
As someone who wakes up at about 6:00-6:30 i can say it will make you 3 times more respectable automaticly.
but also does austin's grip bothers only me? just wanted to see a deeper, thumbless grip

Most important hours of sleep 10 to midnight. If you can get that most nights of the week.
i'm working night shifts bro i'm fucked
Damn I don’t go to sleep until like 3 am
It’s interesting how simple yet inspiring this video is.
C'mon Austin, this one ain't it. Waking up early is usually a by product of your life circumstances, it does not have anything to do with your character traits.
This is coming from someone who wakes up at 4:30 am & go to bed at 10-12 pm (Martial Arts - Work - Lifting - Family Time). I don't wake up at 4:30am "because I'm better than everyone", I wake up early because there's more stuff for me to get done during the day. That's all
Those lean gains looking crazy 🫡
Keep these videos up bro 🔥🔥
