- Here we go! It's time for another new set launch as we head into Dragonlands! This video is an intro to all the things you can expect to see in the PBE patch for those who like to play right away. Hopefully you're as excited as I am for a new set and Dragons to play with!

With the above (very minor) complaint, I must say this set looks incredible and I'm beyond excited to dive in and explore everything soon. Thank you all for your creativity, hard work, and extraordinary communication/interaction with the community.

Point out one mechanic to me that differs from previous sets? I couldn't see anything. I think its fine to reuse things from set to set, but apparently this set has no identity.
Dragon pve round turning into an armory, literally all I can see that is different from live right now. New traits, champs, thats to be expected..
Are the dragon units suppose to be the mechanic? Costing more than 5 gold and requiring more than one slot, both are nothing new to tft.
Can't be the only one to see set 6.75 in this.

@@udalix I think it's a gross exaggeration to say there's no mechanics change and it's set 6.75. It's definitely a new set of champions, a bunch with new abilities and models not available in league, and there's a slide full of mechanic changes. It's one set from augments, which was a big addition that vastly improved the game, not 4 sets in a row without any change.

@@udalix Maybe the reroll augments, the double priced champion, the new augments (afk, pandora bench, ect.) the dragon look stage. IDK man, if you can't see it, you kinda need to see a doctor.
im so addicted to this game. and this set just looks SOOO refreshing. incredible innovation on the new traits, so many potential meme builds which imo is where the game can shine most. and so much variety!! the entire team has outdone themselves. honestly thinking of calling sin sick tomorrow to play this lmao

Couldn’t be more excited by this set. Great job to the entire team you guys keep raising the bar each set. The level of creativity and engagement towards the community that the TFT team demonstrates is unheard of in my 25+ years of gaming on the internet.
If this becomes well balanced it's gonna be the most fun set so far. Great job team!
I personally believe that if its a little bit unbalanced it'll be more fun! (too much ofc not good)

@@INGALIL Yep, I personally believe that's what made set 3 so much fun for me. Everything was broken, lol. I mean you had the celestials(possibly the most frustrating comp to play against while being incredible fun and toxic to play), you had dark star that just made your champs one shot the entire team, you had Mech(need I say more...), you had rebel and A-sol specifically, you had pirates(GP to be more precise), star guardian(remember soraka build, anyone? or syndra?) and of course the void champions were just straight up ridicilous, especially in some of the patches.
Unfortunately, this game has a professional scene, much more so now than it had back then, so they have to care more about balance than ridicilous fun so we'll never get champs/traits that op ever again. Which is both good and bad I guess.
I really like the simpler trait bonuses. For example a lot of the Mirage trait bonuses are simple enough that they're incredibly open ended, as opposed to Chemtech last set, which was too complicated not to think of as "the champions are better," or Hextech, which was such a specific buff that it just felt gimmicky. Looking forward to the return of more set-1-style open-ended comps.

This looks like a balance nightmare, and i respect the hell out of you guys for going with it! Extremely excited for this set!
Mort I started playing in set 6 and I have loved the game overall, and obviously I'm gonna have some gripes, but when I say that in set 7 you genuinely addressed all of them, I mean it. Like the augments being more play style changing, and being able to re-roll once, the dragon statue at 4-7 to have more of a say in my items and just having fun units/traits is just everything I could ask for, looking forward to the set I already know I'm gonna love it

Really truly amazed. It feels like all those years ago when we had season 1, this set is exactly where we've been working to get to. I'm so so happy with where we've gone, and so much singing praises for ever member that worked so hard on this project. 💜🙆♀️

With Gizmo's and Gadget's, I didn't think I could be more excited about a set. I thought that was it, we couldn't get better than this. I was wrong...I am dying knowing there will be dragons to destroy our opponents, this is going to be so much fun, I cannot wait!

looking very good im hyped for this next set and i also have a small suggestion that i think would be a quality of life change, so as someone who enjoys watching tft streams it was always a bit anoying to not know what mutation the mutant trait is when going in so if there could be like a specific icon for each mirage when the trait is active or a small text under it so u can see the specific mirage that is active when trait is in the team that would be very cool :)
they specifically talk about this in the video. there will be an icon at the start of the game that tells you what the mirage perk is so that you don't have to buy a champ and put them on the board to see what it is

Looking awesome! Great job to the entire team, 1 question though with the change of double-up to the normal ranking system does it mean we get a normal queue where we can play with more friends? eg 4-6?
Would have been cool to see LoR Dragons as our Dragons, so everybody gets something ^^
I have played TFT on and off since it first came out and I think I´ve never been so hyped about the game, ever. This looks fresh and so much deeper then ever before, can´t wait to grind ladder again. There is just so much stuff to try out

as someone who completely missed set 1 because I stopped playing LoL somewhere back in season 6 and just wasn't aware when TFT launched, I too am happy to see shapeshifters ! and ofc any other set 1 reprints
The variety and depth is incredible. Truly amazing how far TFT has come. My gratitude to the whole team. I love you good people!

A quick Question: Would you get the interest after automatic gold collection?
For example End of PVE round you have 7 gold and 3 on the board will you get 1 interest from the total or not?

Did you guys intend to adjust Radiant LW to 50% shred? I don't think I saw it in the slideshow
If Preparation allows the AD to stack when you combine champs to level up, I’m calling it now - removed or nerfed to the ground. Giving multiple champs deathblades after 4 turns is INSANE for rotations in the mid game

that reroll augment will force picking econ augments early and than reroll them in late
The new set looks fun, can't wait to play it today on PBE. Finally my fav Sona is a 4 Star, gonna try find a combo around her.
4 cost* 4 stars are like set 4 moonlight but 3 star 4 cost sona sounds fun

Question regarding the Reckless Spending Augment, if you are level 9 you don't have the option of purchasing exp so you are essentially playing down an augment, will you have the option of spending gold to gain the damage boost from this augment?

can legends conga line the buffs? so each one eates the other to transfer all the buffs onto one legend?

Love all of the new changes, but Mort is right about Last Stand...that 20% omnivamp on all your units is way too much for a gold tier augment

This set looks great. But Mort please, for the love of god, add an indicator on the champion portrait wether it scales off AP or AD. Its super simple, just put a little sword or staff icon on portrait plate. It'll make it a lot easier for people to quickly figure out how they want to itemize if they end up having to pivot.
One question - is Pyke gonna have his Sentinel skin or Ashen Knights skin? Because in the shop he's a sentinel, and on the board he's Ashen Knight. Personally I think AK looks waaay cooler, especially for a 5 cost, and also looks better with other Whispers units :x

Are jade and mystic the only traits that buff anyone but their own champions? I just feel like I got really good at the game this set after learning to flex, and I'm scared it's going back to all vertical comps. I guess the high cost champs probably just outweigh the set bonuses in certain situations?

Lategame specialist sounds sick for a silver augment, all the 2 star 5 costs you need, which this set seem fairly splashable. Love it, set looks amazing!

Mortdog said that they wanted more situations where chase traits are achieved, or situations where you get the same augments of different tiers like built different 1, 2 and 3.
Does that mean the odds of hitting these things are higher?

AP is always displayed as %. Deathcap says 75% AP

I played a lot of DOUBLE UP with my friend on 6.5, me made to top 100 on our server. A mechanic that fells a bit wacky is around the reinforcement, for example when there is a player that is really ahead he ends up winning very fast and winning both combats for him and his partner this is okay normally but if you are playing against his partner you are going to very likely end up losing cause of his aid, and if your own partner wins his fight it doesn't end up mattering due to the other player being very ahead.
I know this is hard to understand and is also hard to explain, my point is that the case when you end up doing a 2v2 for example on one board doesn't feel very good, this happens because the fights are not "distributed" by pairs, instead they are distributed by players, take for example:
TeamA: A1 and A2
TeamB: B1 and B2
TeamC: C1 and C2
TeamD: D1 and D2
There are cases where the fights on one round go for example: ... A1 vs B1 and A2 vs C1 ; these are the cases that i think feel clunky, these cases can end up on 2v2s one one board, or you losing a round because the enemy get reinforcement and your ally haven't finished his battle yet and can't help. In the last case for example you are A1 going against B1 and B2 at the same time while your partner is still finishing his fight (in the case that B2 is really ahead).
I don't know how viable is to always distribute the fights by pairs:
A1 vs B1 ; A2 vs B2 and C1 vs D2 ; C2 vs D1 on the same round for example, basically a pair against another pair
Not too sure if that distribution by pairs can end up in maybe less scenarios or making it easier to predict against who you are going to play but we both feel that the system can get better, i don't know what opinions other double up players may have on this.

Super excited too. I think lategame specialist will be good/bad depending on the stage you get it. On 4.2 it should be strong. On 2.1 I expect it to be weak

I’m so glad Shen is back, though a little sad that he is a tank. As a Shen main in regular league, I’m determined to find a way to make him work as a carry.
I mean really it’s just his dodge field right? His traits look strong, you can probably do a damage build and make him work

The egg should go in the opposite direction; Losses reduce egg counter by 2 turns. Have to decide between getting your egg faster or conserving health.
