It's possible the sound mix going to the audience was better. There would have been three mixes; one for the TV feed, one for the feed going to the audience and one for the monitors onstage.

As a teen who actually saw Guns at The Ritz this is a shame. Axl disrespected band for years but $ trumps all. No new music in 2 yrs. Saw at MetLife right and wish it was when i saw them with Metallica qt Giants Stadium. Give it up
His voice is definitely not what it was, sounds like he struggles with certain songs and pitches. Saw them in London a few years ago and his voice was better then but still not the same as in the 90’s which to be fair it won’t be. The band are excellent though, never miss a beat or a note. My only criticism is I thought slash’s sound wasn’t as good as it used to be, I don’t mean his playing as he’s fantastic it’s just his sound wasn’t as great as it has been. If you listen to the Tokyo 92 concert that is one of the best sounds I’ve ever heard from slash, Glastonbury sounded nothing like it..

They were great! BBC really messed it up, a few videos I recorded sounded way better than on TV, Arctic Monkeys were slow and boring, Guns N Roses gave it everything.

Point One - the crowd were bored at the beginning - everyone knows Slash can play a blues scale. Even I can play one in my bedroom. Point two - the intro - rubbish. Point three - A good job the audience are singing, because Axl certainly was not. Point four - thank God Slash wakes up and remembers what he used to do for a living many years ago.
Once Axl lost the voice , that was the time to give up or step aside for a suitable replacement. His legacy would have been better than the shambles thats now happening.
