100%. Didn’t realize how much I loved it until I stayed in Pittsburgh for a week. Not to say anything is wrong with Pittsburgh, but being covered by so many trees and the amount of teddy bears and flowers on the side of roads cause of car accidents and the lack of street lights out there. Couldn’t wait to come back home.

i’ve been all over the east coast but i’ve never left it in my life, yet something about california and specifically LA is so nostalgic to me. seeing the sunsets and the palm trees in the wind always bring me one of the biggest waves of nostalgia ever and remind me of my summers as a child and even a few years ago, which is odd because i live in suburban nj. in love with this city and i don’t know why

What amazes me more than the scenery is the amount of super and luxury cars driving around. This is truly at Monaco-levels

I live in brea and it’s very hilly there. It’s north of Anaheim. The sunsets are the best here because at certain points in the city the hills face the west, and when the sun sets behind them it creates shades of purple, orange, yellow, red, and blue.

This is mostly Beverly Hills (based on what I’ve seen thus far), which has a separate city government that doesn’t allow homeless encampments or littered, staphylococcus-swarming sidewalks. The rest of L.A. County (and now, even parts of the O.C.) is fast becoming a fucking landfill. Do not be disillusioned and move to the area thinking that this drive is representative. You’ll be in for the shock of your life…

I love how slow and peaceful everyone drives. In my state people drive like led foots, impatient, don't obey the street rules. Cause wrecks not to mention the crazy amount of potholes that are bad. This drive looks so beautiful how well everything is taken care of even the road doesn't have faded out lines.
