@ZoruaHunter the truth is in reference to the phrase "The truth is out there" which i think was from X-files? Ross Cawthon was a big fan if I remember correctly. Zekrom is too good for hitting that lightning weakness to not play in this deck
The Truth was one of the first decks I took to a regional. I was still a new player, and was nervous. I forgot to put down my prize cards in my first game so my opponent got to take a prize card as a penalty. It allowed me to play twins turn 1 which was really scummy of me but I did it anyway 😅😅😅
If it makes you feel better, a friend of mine recently graded a card I played for awhile and it got a PSA10. I take good care of my cards, the sleeves, not so much
Vileplume's Allergy Flower locks Trainers, which during the HeartGold SoulSilver era was not the blanket term it is today. Trainers in Hgss refers to Item cards now and when Black & White came out it was updated so that it locked the old Trainers (Rare Candy, Communication, etc) and new Items (Rare Candy, Communication, etc). Twins is a Supporter so it is not stopped
The way that the hand and deck works is odd, but essentially both are unknown contents to the game state, so Communication can fail. Even if I have 0 cards in deck and put 3 energy back with a Super Rod, the game doesn't know what's in the deck so it is possible to fail any search that is specified.
Why is the deck with no Reshiram in it called The Truth?

Ouch 😮 it’s not easy watching kids SNAP these cards when they play them.

Can you fail Pokemon communication? Because it’s public knowledge that there is at LEAST the Pokemon you put on top?

Alrighty just thought I’d point it out I just forgot how weird the interaction of the card was. Thanks for the update!
