This is why people go for retro shows. It doesn’t make sense investing in new TV shows when they can be cancelled at the drop of a hat. That’s why I only watch “new” TV where there are at least 5 maybe 4 seasons already. Hawaii was the first exception to the rule … but yeah never again.

I am very disappointed with this decision. Of the current NCIS shows I enjoyed more than the others. I will dearly miss Tennant, Lucy and Kate. I will probably not bother with the Gibbs prequel.
To the CBS managements: There are more important things than how much you can get out of the Hawaii film board.

Personally, I like NCIS: Hawaii more than NCIS: Sydney. I believe CBS is making a huge mistake with this cancellation, the Hawaii spinoff caught the attention of Magnum PI and Hawaii Five-0 fans I would like to believe because of the Hawaii location. I just think the Sydney storyline isn't captivating but that's probably because it's still a new show. I hate to say it but I think the NCIS franchise is approaching its end.

Why can't they move it to Paramount+ yeah, why can't they? They did. It was so tame when their ratings were as good as a warm lip to be. They moved them to pair my plus you know they did it with a show evil. They moved it to Paramount+ why can't a show that has not the best ratings? Unbelievable , by the time the finale episode of NCIS : Hawaii season 3 and finale aires on cbs and paramount plus within next 10 days , I hope that LL cool J provides an update on when NCIS : LA potential reunion about finding Hetty Lange will be released on paramount plus .

1-The upcoming Young Gibbs prequel NCIS: Origins will be released on cbs and paramount plus this fall
2-There is also the Tony & Ziva NCIS spinoff series greenlighted by Paramount+, making for a crowded NCIS field.
3-NCIS: Hawaiʻi is the third series in the NCIS franchise to end ( first being NCIS : New Orleans and second is NCIS: Los Angeles )
I am not supporting any of those spinoff shows. CBS wants to go back to 2002, fine, they can retell all the same stories again. We as fans got disrespected along with this hard working cast and crew.

Well another show gone I'm gonna miss watching NCIS Hawaii it became my favorite I even loved the crossovers. But you know what even though the show is ending I'm gonna binge watch on it. Aloha NCIS Hawaii.
CBS....your rating will plunder!!!!!! I loved Magnum PI with Tom Selleck and John Hillerman with Zeus and Apollo taking a bite otta Toms BUTT!!!! If it weren’t for NCIS Hawaii, I would never have watched any NCIS. Watching this show got me engaged in the original show. I attempted to watch NCIS Sydney, but there’s no chemistry, so it’s a no go. Thanks CBS for giving me a reason to turn you off. So angry 🤬
Now I cancel Paramount +. First Magnum, now NCIS: H and CSI Vegas. Nothing left to stay for.
You can cancel paramount plus if you want but I'm gonna keep on going with it because they are doing a Tony and Ziva spinoff
This is so sad & messed up, NCSI: Hawaii is such a great so with an amazing cast, strong developing characters. Main female lead that adds so much dimension life, love growth to the NCSI franchise. It’s so wrong to get cheated out of watching a well performing show that should be fully renewed. NCSI Hawaii has a wonderful cast & crew with smart writing, female friendship, loving relationships, Lgbtq representation, great couple kacy that adds more to the show. Each character has a growing story & it’s not just a same action crime show. Fans want to know about these characters each seasons. We must not give up & fight for NCSI Hawaii to get renewed. If all of fans stick together we can try to save the show. It’s definitely worth it. #renewncsiHawaii #savencsiHawaii

"...strong women as the lead" is not a valid reason to hold on to a show. Maybe the audience for these shows had shrunk so dismally that it was time for CBS to cut their losses. Maybe it was just a business decision. Have you ever thought of THAT? Gender, skin color, sexuality and ethnicity do not make a show compelling. My advice for you: please stop!

This is the worst most disrespectful shameful way to cancel a show, on a Friday night after hours. This renewal was a no brainer across all of the entertainment journalists due to them winning their time slot and their stellar VOD and streaming. You tried to kill it with Sam Hanna disrupting the flow in a short season. You tried to kill it with less KACY. You initally wanted to kill it with the 10pm Monday slot. You never advertised it. Yet still it prevailed and fans fell in love with these characters. You state that the verse is still strong, with new series coming. As a die hard NCIS fan, I will not support those shows. NCIS going back in time and not forward thinking, I'm over it. You have no respect for women, LGBT community or diversity.

this show is different then others. you see if my favorite character dies on other shows i stop watching but this show all of them are my favorite witch is very rare for me.

I knew it was coming and predicted it back when they wasted way to much time with the Lucy & Kate relationship. Then by adding a thug character in LL Cool J, was showing it was gasping for air. Became way to Haolewood and not anything like Hawaii. FINALLY Bu bye

LGBTQ series have been vanishing. So have series that feature strong female leads. This was the first for NCIS. Guess the patriarchy and hate groups are the only people who get a voice at this network. They had a #12 ranking against all broadcast programs after sports for streaming & VOD. The rest of the reasons are lip service. But I have zero intention of watching any new spinoff or Sydney. They tried to pacify us with the verse is still strong. You are losing people, like me a diehard fan because of this BS!

WTF ! This can not be right. This is such a great show, seriously. It has such a great cast , the story lines are fantastic , like I said, WTF ?!?!? Something isn’t right here . Gorgeous men , gorgeous women, beautiful Hawaii, action packed. Somebody’s smoking crack that’s the only thing I can think of , I don’t know…
I live in Australia and was surprised NCIS Sydney got a second season… Why? The show looks like they didn’t want to spend money on the show, the team are a deserted island with very little to no contact or support of any of higher ups let alone any of the other NCIS teams. The two lead characters (not actors) spent most of the time in a pissing competition. They don’t have any resources, Blue the IT tech/specialist has to “borrow” search data bases, she doesn’t even have a desk but a laptop/tablet she carts around. (like that’s believable that they are a secure network and data) in lieu of an actual desk. They don’t have a secured office or a morgue with equipment for testing for anything biological or chemical. The team live in an abandoned boat shed on the harbour. Where is a backup second team even the appearance of one? These poor fellas gotta work 24/7. NCIS even if they didn’t have a speaking role appeared in the background, not just the main team the show is centred around.

I guess LL Cool J couldn't save the show. I wonder if the shows ratings were below where they needed to be. Or with the 2024 fall line up, it would just be too many shows and crowd the field. Its also very expensive to film in Hawaii, even with tax credits. Maybe the low ratings didn't justify the large budget. They could have gone overseas and filmed the show with stock footage of Hawaii being utilized. Most tv shows and movies do that nowadays to save on money. Either way looks like NCIS Hawaii is done.

Very disappointed! This show was far superior to NCIS: New Orleans and they gave that one 7 seasons.while I do like NCIS: Sydney, I’m not so sure of the new NCIS: Origins show. I’ve seen enough of the Gibbs character to last a lifetime….. just saying!

A really bad decision taking such a great show off the air after such a short run and it was getting good ratings so I have no idea what these execs think they’re doing. There is a petition out there which all fan should sign who want to save it, but I wouldn’t;t hold my breath with these muppets running things. Terrible decision.

I’m not ONLY saying this bc I’m a lesbian. I’m saying this bc I genuinely like tv and entertainment (of course the gorgeous couple #kacy does help) but this baffles me. I know this show has “cheesy” moments but once it found its groove it’s been beyond great. Anybody seen *NCIS NEW ORLEANS* ?? It’s GOD AWFUL and has SEVEN SEASONS. Plz make it make sense. Not only does the cast have zero chemistry.. I’m from New Orleans, Louisiana and the portrayal is not only absurd and laughable but it’s also so inaccurate to a point of being insulting lol but this is the one they choose to get rid of? The one with the female led cast, and the only one with an actual solid ‘lesbian couple’ hmm I wonder if that has anything to do with the cancellation 🤔🙄 and I refuse to believe it’s because of “ratings” so don’t even. Not to mention, *Station 19* is also being cancelled. One of the only other real lesbian friendly shows left (now that greys has ruined what’s left of lesbianism) and that also highlights more of the female aspect of the job rather than the same old hetero men/couples as usual (nothing wrong with that of course just saying there’s 100 million shows for them) but surprise surprise these two are the ones being cancelled despite both being genuinely good and entertaining shows (esp compared to the ridiculous shows out there with 40 seasons of NOTHINGNESS) and It’s bullshit. There once was a time I thought real progress was being made and yes compared to a decade ago, real improvements have been made for sure but just like everything else in this world, television isnt even close to being where it should be.. it’s not just an quantity but quality and the LGB-T community always ends up f***ed when it comes to both and I’m sickened by the amount of regression I’m seeing lately. There’s very few good things left in this world left to enjoy and these shows were it for me.. so thanks to whoever made this harsh horrible decision/mistake. I hope karma finds you all quickly.

This has nothing to do with misogyny, sexism, homophobia Jane Tennant was a great Strong Female character it's how she was written have you watched CSI what about the other strong female characters of NCIS maybe you didn't watch this show properly all you cared about was for the lesbian couple who has absolutely no chemistry what so ever

Furthmore, it isn't about strong female characters (I still miss Ziva and Bishop), but about strong female LEAD characters. All three of these shows had them. I'm hoping CBS is smart enough to leave Elsbeth and Equalizer alone.

I am happy it's been canceled. Playing into the gay lobby. Every Dang TV show now has to have gay characters. It's not a question of any support for discrimination against gay people but it's the lgbtq indoctrination that many of us are opposed to. We not only have to accept people we have to promote them no matter what their lifestyle. Furthermore we have to agree with things that go against objective reality. When is Hollywood going to realize that this is not the way? Good riddance. My wife and I didn't watch it past the first episode.
