Thanks For Your Support Antonio, We've spent the past couple of months privately kicking pretty big Goals, Hopefully we'll be putting out some more RUclips videos very soon!
Looks like a great boat I know Stabicraft has closed cell baffling. I think the hull slap could be real annoying over time, especially with a cabin. It would be a great video to show the difference between sound levels with foam vs no foam.
mate not sure what it is.. its either the transducer is positioned way too low on the hull or there something else on the right hand side of the outboard attached to the hull creating an unusual high amount of spray at 2.50
Hi John, We got this Stabi up to 37.5 Knots Wide Open Throttle. Just Keep in mind if your Yami is an F130 it has a 130hp and is 1.8L in capacity, whereas this Mercury Fourstroke is a 135hp 3.0L making the Mercury a Higher Displacement, Giving it more Torque and allowing it to Spin a Larger Propeller, I'll get back to you on what prop we used next time the boat comes in for servicing but I believe it was a 16/17 Pitch Enertia. Mercury Propellers run Much Larger as well, which would make it equivalent to a 17/18 Pitch Yamaha prop :) How are you liking your your Stabi?
@@hitechmarineau love the Stabi mate, had it a couple of years now and its a great boat for the size, I think they could do with a slightly larger tank, 150ltrs maybe and a small increase on the max hp, again to 150. What you've said regarding the Merc confirms my thoughts as well, I would have gone the Merc but the dealer I support is a Yamaha shop so I ran with that. Allround would recommend to anyone looking at a 5.5m boat to consider the 1850 as a serious option
Cheers Kevin, Trust me - We're not scared of the Rough Stuff, especially in a Tough Stabicraft like this one! Believe it or not we actually don't plan to take the boat out on super calm days, however we have such a high turn over of boats coming in and out of the shop that when we finally get the chance to get 2 boys, The Boat and the drone down to the water, we just take it regardless of the weather. Another factor is, You Risk losing your drone on the rough days. To get decent footage we'd have to take a second boat with people, which means our boys won't be able to complete servicing and Repairs Unfortunately
I love your Chanel

Always go with foam fill

Hey Mate, That's the 1kw transducer & we've placed it in the perfect position to provide optimal readings with no interference :) Thanks for watching
Was that 37 knots or miles flat out? I'm running a 130hp Yammie 4 stroke and getting 34 knots at WOT (6000rpm) on a 13-1/8" x 16" Pitch S/S prop.

There's no replacement for displacement.
