Nice tidy little turbo for the price, you really just can't beat it.

Pretty impressed with the grinder, the seller sent me a free replacement collet too. It's so cheap I didn't think I could lose! Bit big for detail work so I also have a dremmel for a lighter touch. Katsu grinder ftw.

hmm disappointing to have to port your new turbo to get a balanced hole... lol I suppose if one has the skill and know how then its not so bad.

Did you by chance know the lowest PSI when fully unscrewing the actuator? And how much did it increase per full turn?

Not something I've investigated yet, but I will be doing this when the turbo conversion is complete. I think the factory Subaru setting may be too high for the Starlet already, so will reduce the preload before the first drive.

@@MorphAssault Hi, Your comment about fuel pumps didn't show on the video for some reason (sign out and check). The stock glanza 4efte and ep91 4efe fuel pumps are the same part number. If you're running 1 bar of boost I would look to upgrade to a Walbro 255lph pump. The stock Toyota item will probably be decades old now anyway, so probably needs changing. P.S. wouldn't recommend 1 bar on a 4efe turbo build with stock internals!

@@dan91sgarage mine is running 1 bar with original fuel pump pushing 209 hp with the td04

@DKDuty Engine specs please, 4efe, 4efte standard, forged, injector size, etc.??? Those figures are where most people change the pump to an uprated item.

WHY does the UK... Gravitate to Chinesium CRAP so eagerly ??

What makes you think it's crap? From the stripdown it looks more than good value for money. A used genuine TD04l costs more and will most likely be worn out and need a rebuild. Lots of people are using Maxpeedingrods turbos and are more than happy with them. What turbo do you think I should have bought? Or is this just a dig at the UK?
