Listening to a great man while reading the comments and coming across that he recently died. My appreciation for the effort by those making these recordings possible. Every person has a unique story.

R.I.P. Dr. Singleton, one of the finest story tellers I've had the honor of hearing speak of their war experiences. Your commitment to your country and its defense, as well as to its youth cannot be underestimated nor forgotten.

😮Alot of those young men who were DRAFTED and did not have a say in the matter experienced situations where they did not even know who the enemy was. The enemy at times would use children to get a kill.😮 The media did our soldiers a GRACE disservice covering that war the way some of them did and only showed one side while our young men, alot of them just graduating high school were facing enemy fire as well as friendly fire on a daily basis.😮 I wonder what alot of us would have done if we were suddenly greeted by an ambush seemingly out of nowhere! encountering an enemy who suddenly popped up on u from underground. Sure some unsavory things occurred over there, that should not have, on both sides, but alot of our soldiers served honorably and do not deserve our disdain but our prayers😮 Because none of us know what we would have done had it been us who'd received the draft notice and only months later be possibly dropped into a hot LZ with zero combat experience. 😮😮Speaking the truth in love, I ask this question: who are we to judge them so harshly, really? 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
