I've heard of the deserts in China, but never seen them until now. Thanks for showing us. I can't wait to get a taste of China next year, I will be in Hong Kong for about 6 days and hope to get a train into mainland China for at least a day while there.
It was certainly pretty unique to go from big cities, to deserts, to snow-capped mountains all in the same region of China! Shenzhen or even Guangzhou would be good choices for a day trip ☺️

This was so epic.The sliding down the sand dunes had me being totally scared for you, but your laughter and your screams made for great entertainment as well as your joyous smile.This looks much scarier than any rollercoaster in my opinion. As a Chinese who was born and has been living in the East almost for the entire life, I’ve never had the confidence in traveling in Xin Jiang as it is too big and too far away. Thanks for the amazing vlog which really shows how beautiful the place is and how nice the local people are. I believe one day I will also be there to visit the epic places! I also learned a lot from Flora’s introduction to each place where you guys have been so far and always been impressed by your appreciation to the scenery, the landscape and the culture from your lovely words.

Very nice desert view. We went to Turpan this May, but our tour didn't include the desert. You should visit North Xinjiang , Hemu Village, Kanas Lake, etc, very beautiful sceneries.
I was in Turpan mid Aug this year and you can imagine how hot it was! absolutely one of my favourite place in Xinjiang with heaps of history (Jiaohe ancient city and Gaochang Ancient CIty) and magenificent sand dunes. So glad to see you guys enjoyed your visit there 🥰

hahahah.. we were just there during the national holiday.. we stayed at the same hostel, took the same arranged taxi by Dap Hostel to go around Turpan, went to the exact places you went. Love Wundou , super chill hostel and lovely owner. Super love this video as it reminded me of when we were there a few weeks ago. Turpan is a place where you could learn a lot of things and see a lot of cultural sites.

We honestly met some of the nicest people here in Turpan that made our trip more fun and memorable. The sand buggy driver was soo funny and animated 🤣
