Love my Fishman mini and it produces fantastic sound but you never record an acoustic guitar plugged in. You always mic the guitar to capture its full body sound. Point the mic where the neck meets the body and adjust as needed.

For recording, What’s the difference between between connecting the guitar directly to the recording system and connecting it via the amp?

Hey! Love this feature. Just want to check - which kind of cable connection should I use going into my Scarlett 2i2? It looks like you are using a common 3-pin XLR connector in this video but the manual on my Scarlett 2i2 says "Do not connect anything other than a microphone - e.g., the output of a sound module or FX unit - via an XLR plug, as the signal will overload the preamp, resulting in distortion." Am I ok to use a XLR (female)-XLR (male) into the scarlett?

All Fishman Loudbox amplifiers feature a balanced DI output that is perfect for direct recording. The output level is fixed at around the same level as a dynamic microphone so you should have no issues with distortion. You can safely use a standard mic cable like the one you describe for this purpose and adjust your input level just as you would for a dynamic microphone. You won’t need phantom power, but the Loudbox DI outputs are tolerant to 48V in case you accidentally leave it on.

Fantastic! Thanks for your reply. I was busking at a farmers market this weekend and a guy came up to me and asked me why my guitar sounds so great and I told him it’s because of the amp. 😅

Could I potentially use some wireless in ears through the phones socket and send a DI out to a house PA/mixer?

Yes, only the amp and speakers are muted.
