Thanks so much! we do want to share the REAL experience, and it's not a 5 minute job, even though it could be edited to be short...I want to show the struggles along the way, that's where we have time to teach and learn from one another...otherwise it's just a stock, factory promo video, which are dime a dozen and prove almost nothing!
I’m busy rebuilding mine, by far my favourite as a passionate Pilatus fanatic. I wanted one of these with a sore heart but could never get one here until a mate found one that was quite abused, got a replacement fuz, new prop, made my own more scale spinner, rebuilding the cockpit and hatch completely, also more scale and detailed, redoing the wing tips to a scale profile (larger than the stock tips) new gear doors, a Patrouille du Suiss white and red scheme, dummy underwing tanks, full placard decals including the canopy breakaway patterns and a host of refinements, it’s going to be a competition winner, the pilot figure is a full figure fighter pilot that cost almost what the model costs! If you want to add more detail and would like the decal set I’d be happy to share the artwork with you, I just print on A4 label paper and coat it with polyurethane varnish.
So glad you also had to move your battery that far forward. I just set mine up this week, and was worried about how far I had to move mine. That front strap is barely holding on to the back of my battery, lol. I put a rubber strip on the bottom to help it stay in place.
@@BrianPhillipsRC Hey, I was able to maiden my PC-21 Pilates this morning. I reduced the throw on the flaps cause I heard they were extreme. Takeoff was perfect, and only needed 2 clicks of right Aileron. Very stable, predictable, and controllable. Not as fast as you might think, but its rock stable, even inverted and in a knife edge. My first "jet trainer" and first time with retracts. Great experience for sure. Can't wait to fly it some more. Thanks for the video!
Brian! I just bought this plane and got it yesterday! I put water based clear polyurethane on mine and it really looks amazing now. I should be able to do my maiden tomorrow 😁😁😁👍
I bought a pack of self-adhesive screw cover caps that are small white circular 9/16" disks that I use to mark the CG on my planes. They are raised up slightly and have a texture on them so I can easily find them to check CG whether it is a high wing or low wing.
Thanks again Brian for turning me on to this plane. I bought it thru your link and I maiden it today and she flies awesome. Also great job with the forward programming. I'm computer stupid and you made me a genius. Thanks man
Thanks for the video. I jumped on here after I picked one of these up and ran out of battery tray before I got the CG correct. I wanted to make sure I wasn't that far off and your battery is in the same spot. So thanks for confirmation. You have to love that they design these and make you think they never flew the damn things. Just put them out and let us figure it out.
Yep, all is well, she had a headache and was better mid way through the evening. Thanks Erric! As for the flight, I took it up (off camera) last night for 4 flights, all on 3200 or 2700mah and each flight was better than the last!!!
Thanks! Just uploaded out Second thoughts video and still LOVING THIS PLANE. It's one of my favorites, of late....and we've done like 20+ aircraft this year???
If you had a slider-equipped transmitter (NX8 or higher I think) you could get full gains for slower flight and landing (e.g. 90 roll at full but at half you're at 45) and turn it off completely as you did with the three position switch. It'll also let you have fine tuned precision for adjusting AS3X, especially with jets which love wobbling if they're not set up just right.
Thank you you finally got the Plautus. I have had this for a year and it's been setting right above my head put together and actually bound to a remote and I have the stabiliser put in after market. But not many people fly this plane other than professionals on The channels that are sponsored by fMS or horizon. And I like how you put down all the settings so at least I have this one to go off of and I can fly it maybe

OK, OH Dear! I think I just saw my next plane. Brian you need a turn out on the south end of the runway - you know down towards the bales of hay. Another wide spot out by the mail box would be great too. Then you need to put in runway lights and a tower just for effect.
Yeah I want to do these things too, but with winter, not sure how to get things strong enough to handle the snow and such. ALSO, we have some plans to potentially add 100 feet to the runway.
I hate to say this old bird may have moved up ahead of the FW 190 on my want list. 😎 I have to say watching all that finesse in placing the receiver knowing you needed to move it was brutal. 😱
It also comes with a Reflex System so you do not need the Safe and AS3X - you can just use a nice Spektrum AR620.. OH I see you got sent one without the Reflex installed - well I Just purchased mine today with Reflex... a bit late to the show bit got it a killer price here in the UK - short servo extension leads and shove it in the back behind the battery.. then you have all the space you want to set the battery so the CG is good...
Yep - the Reflex system is only generally offered overseas, from what I'm gathering....but it does act as an external stabilizer, as I understand. I'd like to try one at some point ;)
Brian if you get the nx8 or 10 you can assign the as3x gain channel to the r/h knob so you can adjust in the air way easier ,then when you are happy with that you can permanently set gains on the ground if you like . You commented on mixing in fwd programming don't remember ever seeing that.
I believe that they did...I bought a Seagull models version and converted it to electric. Man did that thing fly! I also converted a 120 size Cap 232 that I loved almost as much.... Both are hard to get now...
Love the look. That color is stunning. Outstanding electronics bay. I like to be able to stuff more than a battery and receiver inside my planes. It seems like a lot of plane for $200.
Well, to be fair, the Rx is another few bucks, I've been saying under $300, but it's about the cost of the other BNF planes, if you do it like I did with the AR631 (which has been really nice!). Even at
its one of my favourite planes, smooth, no gyro required, i have an fms 3648 870kv motor in mine, 850watt 58amp, 80amp esc, quick enough for me on 3000mah 4s 40c 4.5 mins.
@@BrianPhillipsRC Yes Brian its a great flyer and looks well in the air . The uprated motor I added gives it that extra climb rate. I added oleo to front retract and I fly off well cut grass no problem, half flaps take off, nose a fraction down on landing approach, flare at last second for almost 3 pointer with mains just a fraction before nose.
Brian, I would love to buy planes through your site, but with a very low fixed income the closest I will ever get is the RF 9.5, which took me some time to get, it helps with the transmitter, but dose not give me the feel of flying a real RC plane. I do enjoy watching your site.
Don't feel bad Bill. We don't expect you to pay if you can't, but when and if you do decide, we would really appreciate your support. We're here for you, and hope you can get some fun planes from time to time.
OK checked the price -thru your link... now I'm really considering. I've even got 2 AR636Bs on the way. Which I may be reach out for help, first time installing them in a new plane. Got the blue tooth cable for forward programming.
I just ordered this right now ty. I have seen this before never got it I do like the short take off and how quiet it is. Will be perfect where I live or back yard though. I always liked the look but just got it now.
Thanks RCHeliJet! This plane is AMAZING! So well put together, and dialed in with this Rx!!! Loving the SMART packs, and Spectrum's latest Rx'es...so much good stuff coming, it's hard to keep focus on just one item at a time!
I put a 5S setup in mine, running a 65amp esc and 2200mah 5s battery. I also am running parallel 2x 1800mah 5s combo which it handles no problem. I run the stock prop and this is now its nearly as fast as my EDF's with unlimited vertical (I'm at 5000ft) so you might have that anyways.
Rx choices I'd choose, and in the order I'd choose them... AR631 bit.ly/3pYNC3c (This one is a bit cheaper, but slightly less telemetry...but you CAN use an Avian ESC for the "rest" of the Telemetry Data) AR637T bit.ly/3pW3u86 (This one would work great too) AR8360T bit.ly/3dKg4n6 (This one might be overkill, but since I don't have the Rafale 80, I can't say with 100% certainty)
Brian watching you has things popping into my mind. You like to say foam to protect the foam, why not foam to protect the fingers? Use some of the foam pack to wrap the prop blade that you are going to grab hold of.
Hey Brian and camera crew. Im putting the AR631 into my night timber x. With my new NX8!👍 my question is... when setting up AS3X on a tail dragger, should you make it level for initiation? I remember you talking about that on a previous episode? Thanks in advance
You know, I HAVE THE SAME QUESTION....so I guess I don't know. I'd err on the side of put the plane LEVEL like it's going to fly, but I could be wrong...
I love the way it flies, and I definitely prefer Spektrum. They're easier for me to use, and very well thought out, and easy to learn. OpenTx feels clunky, and I have a hard time with it. This is largely due to the fact that I've spent more time with it, but there's a reason I have...it's less frustrating ;)
Quick question: I’m about to buy the NX6 as I’m a beginner and my question is if 6 channels is enough for a plane with flaps, lights and gear (for example the Fw190)? Or do I need 7 channels for that? Thanks for the help!
It's a 7 channel transmitter - I know, it's stupid that they call it 6 channel...BUT it is in FACT 7 channels ;) For $40 more, you can get the NX8....might want to do that for more "shelf life" as you progress through the ranks. NX bit.ly/3mbVuNB Just my 2 cents, but I know the NX6 has been phenomenal so far!!!
Well, to be fair, this plane, as configured it almost 1.5 times as much, but it's a lot more feature packed with flaps and retracts, and the AR631 is amazing too...BUT the 1.1m T-28 Trojan is VERY good. I hate to tell you this, but If there were a fire in the house, (After the kids of course), I'd grab BOTH - LOL T28 1.1m bit.ly/38n1dvD + PC-21 1.1m bit.ly/3bCrHKg + AR631 bit.ly/3pYNC3c = David Happy ;)
Hello brian, sorry about this being a new comment on an old video, but like flying the fms ranger 1220mm but with safe on, safe off im not too comfortable. Does this plane have safe? and would you suggest me buying this plane as i really want to get it.
That would also give me FULL TELEMETRY for the per cell voltages, I do believe, as well - BUT I would need one more channel (Good thing I have the NX8 sitting in the corner taunting me to open it up NOW!!!)
You should do a review on the avios spitfire from hobby king. Brilliant plane. Comes ready to fly with all electrical. Only needs battery transmitter and reciever
I haven't yet, but I may have to do it when I unbox and setup our new NX8. I don't mean to be dismissive here, but I just don't use it. I believe you can do it with just about 5 minutes more worth of steps, it's pretty easy in FORWARD PROGRAMMING....BUT you're right, we need to set that up, especially on a plane like this that SAFE would make sense in. This plane is ROCK SOLID, and I'd very highly reccmend it!
It can, but if it's thick, you can get away with some. The hot clue will stay HOT for a while, so be careful when you use it...and make sure you don't try to glue a wing into a pocket, since the foam will seal it off and cause it to stay hot for a LONG time, then you can end up with a gap around the glue. You'll notice, I was gluing around the edge of the Rx, in this build, so this works well. You also need to keep in mind, it's heavy. It's definitely doable, but just keep it as light as you can to get the job done, and don't "Trap" the glue and you'll be good!
I know! I was thinking the same thing the other night when I flew her off camera for 4 amazing - near perfect flight - SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD! We're gonna get a "Second Thoughts" flight up asap ;)
I LOVE this plane, and it's speedy! I wonder if he's using a weak pack??? I bet if a guy wanted to pep it up, just swap out the 5 blade prop, and you'd be going twice the speed in no time (well, maybe 1/3 faster???)
Nice. Can you do a video in the future showing the AR631 is only fly by telemetry (vs full range on like the AR637T/A)? Like have camera crew record the telemetry on the transmitter while you fly far and close to see what happens when it’s out of range. Just to show how far out “fly by” really goes.
@@BrianPhillipsRC spectrum has two types of telemetry: fly-by and full range. I assume fly-by only works (transmitter picks ups the data) when you “fly by”/fly near yourself vs full range which as the name implies, reaches as long as tx and rx are connected. Haven’t seen anyone do a comparison of these two differently ranged telemetries. Don’t see anything from spectrum indicating fly-by real range.
Now that’s a pretty plane! Just to think I always skimmed over this gem! What kind of connecter does it have I saw you just slap in a smart pack so I’m interested
I'm bad about asking questions three years later I forget to look at the dates it was streamed sorry air Marshall crashed his plane like this one awsome vidio
How is the servo and other equipment quality of FMS planes? Dynam for example makes some great airframes but have a reputation of substandard electronics that fail too often. I assume FMS is pretty good but dunno.
I have had 3 FMS planes and only had one issue. The nose steering servo was glued into my Yak 130. That CA glue got into the gear case of the servo, so it didn't work. I asked for a replacement servo and they just sent me a new plane. FMS guarantees their planes to work out of the box (after obvious assembly). They are really good.
I wouldn't say they use substandard anything. In fact, I'd say they have some of the best sizing and quality parts I've see, second only to Eflite planes, of which I've even had some DOA...very few and far between, but even the best MFG in RC are going to have issues from time to time. I measure the quality of RC products partly by if the MFG or Distributor backs them up when they DO have issues.
it warns you its turning off. just like the old spektrum, theres as delay before it fully turns off.. for safety. you can turn it back on and it wont disconnect if you do so before the beeps end
I will do that for you, but not sure of the timing on the release. We just filmed a bunch of "second thoughts" videos today, but you're 100% right, we need to do another Turbo Timber 1.5m second thoughts
If you have the money get the NX10 obviously more channels , hall affect gimbals , way longer battery life , nice magnetic charger , neck trap and bragging rights at the field .
I want the NX10, but I need to share what's the BEST deal for people ;) The NX6 is amazing, and will do 95% of what everyone "needs" while the NX8 will do the other 4%...or 99% of the average RC enthusiast will need, while the NX10 is just awesome... Keep in mind, I currently have a DX18 sitting there looking pretty... I want to show what people will use, unless HH decided to send me an iX20 ;) Then screw all that talk - I'll be using it from now on - LOL!!!
Honestly, I kinda don't. It's an AMAZING transmitter, but the NX6 has been EXCELLENT!!! I could do a few more bells and whistles with the DX18, but the same is true with the NX8 and NX10...
According to the FMS website, this one does come with a Reflex... bprc.me/FMS_PC21_Pilatus That's the only info we have to go on. If it's a deal breaker for you one way or the other, I'd reach out to FMS directly.
3 1/4 hours and it's not even a Dynam.😂 Informative with corrections. In a few more weeks you will have too many comments to reply to....good problem to have.
I have been there a few weeks - after about 3-4 hours of replying, it gets a bit old, but I know that so many just want to make that quick kind remark, and others have legit questions that I CAN help with, so like you said - great problem to have ;)
I have a real plane, but want to fly ultra-lights soon. I'm not licensed, and not necessarially in a spot to be able to do it now...so Ultra Light will be my next plan.
Yeah, i love this plane, ive had mine for about a year now, and i only flew it once, so far i love it, and it flies really good. I'd love to see what you do with it. This plane flies just as good without AS3X as it does with it. Apparently the cg can be moved to 112mm behind the leading edge, According to this rcgroups page. www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2700509-FMS-1100mm-Pilatus-PC-21/page20

Brian, I would love to buy planes through your site, but with a very low fixed income the closest I will
ever get is the RF 9.5, which took me some time to get, it helps with the transmitter, but dose not give
me the feel of flying a real RC plane. I do enjoy watching your site.
Don't feel bad Bill. We don't expect you to pay if you can't, but when and if you do decide, we would really appreciate your support. We're here for you, and hope you can get some fun planes from time to time.
Got the 1.5 Turbo Timber and 3 3200 mAh 4S for it, you got me considering this one Brian!!!
OK checked the price -thru your link... now I'm really considering. I've even got 2 AR636Bs on the way. Which I may be reach out for help, first time installing them in a new plane. Got the blue tooth cable for forward programming.
almost forgot, luv turbo props too, work for a regional airline and out first 2 aircraft types (Beech 1900D and Dash 8 200/300) were turbos.
Very cool Michael! Forward programming is fairly straight forward, but why not BNF - sooo much easier???
Love the pilatus planes Brian 🤙
Me too! So pretty! Love the way it flies! I did fly it in calm last night, but Camera Crew was out ;( so no camera work...it was GLORIOUS!!!
Thank you guys your videos ,they are really helpful, and that plain is amaziiiiiing 👌👌👌👌
Thanks! It is VERY GOOD! I'm SOOOOO glad I did this one!
How awesome would a Tamiya RC Vehicle build be🤔. A really beautiful plane.
Maybe one day!
I just ordered this right now ty.
I have seen this before never got it
I do like the short take off and how quiet it is.
Will be perfect where I live or back yard though.
I always liked the look but just got it now.
Excellent, but who's Ty???
@@BrianPhillipsRC hey thanks that's what I meant lol.
great information in this video thank you..!
@@BrianPhillipsRC I ordered this because of this video too.
Still learning about planes though..thanks.
Like it, in the Swiss Color, Fantastic, thumb up. Very Agil and Fast. And Respect, butter landing :)
Thanks RCHeliJet! This plane is AMAZING! So well put together, and dialed in with this Rx!!! Loving the SMART packs, and Spectrum's latest Rx'es...so much good stuff coming, it's hard to keep focus on just one item at a time!
The only cheese that belongs in my gyro is feta. Sick plane sir, much appreciated for the video.
LOL - nice ;)
I put a 5S setup in mine, running a 65amp esc and 2200mah 5s battery. I also am running parallel 2x 1800mah 5s combo which it handles no problem. I run the stock prop and this is now its nearly as fast as my EDF's with unlimited vertical (I'm at 5000ft) so you might have that anyways.
AWESOMENESS! I want to try it now!
@@BrianPhillipsRC it would make a great second thoughts video!
We already filmed a second thoughts video, so don't forget we haven't had a chance to try your idea yet ;)
Wow it looks amazing
It is! LOVE this plane! Less than $300 out the door, and SOOOO GOOD!
Look at ya now wow what a plane that retract though
It's awesome!
I want to put safe and As3x in the arrows f15 and the fms rafale 80. What receiver do you recommend for these aircraft. Thanks
Rx choices I'd choose, and in the order I'd choose them...
AR631 bit.ly/3pYNC3c (This one is a bit cheaper, but slightly less telemetry...but you CAN use an Avian ESC for the "rest" of the Telemetry Data)
AR637T bit.ly/3pW3u86 (This one would work great too)
AR8360T bit.ly/3dKg4n6 (This one might be overkill, but since I don't have the Rafale 80, I can't say with 100% certainty)
Brian watching you has things popping into my mind. You like to say foam to protect the foam,
why not foam to protect the fingers? Use some of the foam pack to wrap the prop blade that
you are going to grab hold of.
That's a thought ;)
Hey Brian and camera crew. Im putting the AR631 into my night timber x.
With my new NX8!👍 my question is... when setting up AS3X on a tail dragger, should you make it level for initiation? I remember you talking about that on a previous episode?
Thanks in advance
You know, I HAVE THE SAME QUESTION....so I guess I don't know. I'd err on the side of put the plane LEVEL like it's going to fly, but I could be wrong...
@@BrianPhillipsRC cool.
Thanks for answering.
I’m guessing your probably right.
I’ve watched most of your vids.
Feel like we’re friends. Lol
Nice plane. It flew amazing and not much wind problems. Do you prefer Spektrum TX? What do you feel about Open TX radios?
I love the way it flies, and I definitely prefer Spektrum. They're easier for me to use, and very well thought out, and easy to learn. OpenTx feels clunky, and I have a hard time with it. This is largely due to the fact that I've spent more time with it, but there's a reason I have...it's less frustrating ;)
Hi Brian, Come to think of it, you could make us a mini SUN 'n FUN or a mini EAA Airventure Oshkosh with all your models lined up in the parking lot.
That would be cool, but daunting ;)
This plane is awesome
I think it is too!
Great job, thank you guys.
Thanks G Bro!
Beautiful plane!
It sure is! Love the way it flies. I got a chance to fly her last night for three flights in dead calm - it was AMAZING!
@@BrianPhillipsRC Yeah even in the chop you were flying in on the video it flies very gracefully and smooth.
Quick question: I’m about to buy the NX6 as I’m a beginner and my question is if 6 channels is enough for a plane with flaps, lights and gear (for example the Fw190)? Or do I need 7 channels for that? Thanks for the help!
It's a 7 channel transmitter - I know, it's stupid that they call it 6 channel...BUT it is in FACT 7 channels ;)
For $40 more, you can get the NX8....might want to do that for more "shelf life" as you progress through the ranks.
NX bit.ly/3mbVuNB
Just my 2 cents, but I know the NX6 has been phenomenal so far!!!
what camera do you use for filming its really good
Galaxy S9 Cell Phone as of late - LOL ;)
I was just wondering what to do for the next 3:15:21. Thanks BP. Which do you prefer this or the new Eflite T28 Trojan?
Well, to be fair, this plane, as configured it almost 1.5 times as much, but it's a lot more feature packed with flaps and retracts, and the AR631 is amazing too...BUT the 1.1m T-28 Trojan is VERY good. I hate to tell you this, but If there were a fire in the house, (After the kids of course), I'd grab BOTH - LOL
T28 1.1m bit.ly/38n1dvD
+
PC-21 1.1m bit.ly/3bCrHKg + AR631 bit.ly/3pYNC3c
= David Happy ;)
Hello brian, sorry about this being a new comment on an old video, but like flying the fms ranger 1220mm but with safe on, safe off im not too comfortable. Does this plane have safe? and would you suggest me buying this plane as i really want to get it.
6:23 an Avian 45 amp ESC would let you back taxi, which would be scale for a turbo prop, just saying.....
That would also give me FULL TELEMETRY for the per cell voltages, I do believe, as well - BUT I would need one more channel (Good thing I have the NX8 sitting in the corner taunting me to open it up NOW!!!)
Up and over the moon. I need that plane! 😁👋🏻
Yes you do, it's amazing!
@@BrianPhillipsRC ordered!
Very pretty plane!
Absolutely! She flies good, works good, and small enough to fit in a tight spot!
You should do a review on the avios spitfire from hobby king. Brilliant plane. Comes ready to fly with all electrical. Only needs battery transmitter and reciever
Not sure the one you're talking about has the Rx in it???
This one - bit.ly/30faWzq
Do you have any video where if you activate the safe mode in this type of receivers, thanks
Brian, I have not used Hot glue before will it melt foam?
It can, but if it's thick, you can get away with some. The hot clue will stay HOT for a while, so be careful when you use it...and make sure you don't try to glue a wing into a pocket, since the foam will seal it off and cause it to stay hot for a LONG time, then you can end up with a gap around the glue. You'll notice, I was gluing around the edge of the Rx, in this build, so this works well.
You also need to keep in mind, it's heavy.
It's definitely doable, but just keep it as light as you can to get the job done, and don't "Trap" the glue and you'll be good!
@@BrianPhillipsRC Thanks Brian, you and your camera crew do an outstanding job! I always look forward to your plane video's
Hey I Made It, I've Been Busy Makin Money In The Stock Market...🤑 Nice Plane & She's Quick + A Great Soundin Screamer! LOL Thanks
What's making you money - please do share ;) All my stuff is flat, BUT I prefer large bumps...lol.
@@BrianPhillipsRC Yeah, Nice Firm Ones! 😜
Nice plane.. looks like EDF
I know! I was thinking the same thing the other night when I flew her off camera for 4 amazing - near perfect flight - SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD! We're gonna get a "Second Thoughts" flight up asap ;)
Wife: I could even do that!
A bit later:
I didnt expect that!
HAHA
LOL
I met a young pilot last week. He has one of these, but is kinda lukewarm on it. Thinks it sort of slow. Slow or scale????? your thoughts?
I LOVE this plane, and it's speedy! I wonder if he's using a weak pack??? I bet if a guy wanted to pep it up, just swap out the 5 blade prop, and you'd be going twice the speed in no time (well, maybe 1/3 faster???)
@@BrianPhillipsRC Thanks.
I would love to see the Freewing A-6 Intruder. I want to buy one even though I am no where good enough to fly it, but I love the A-6
I want one too, but MotionRC doesn't want to work with me ;(..... That plane looks AMAZING!
Nice. Can you do a video in the future showing the AR631 is only fly by telemetry (vs full range on like the AR637T/A)? Like have camera crew record the telemetry on the transmitter while you fly far and close to see what happens when it’s out of range. Just to show how far out “fly by” really goes.
I don't understand what you're asking.
XT60, but you can cram an IC3 in there is you want.
@@BrianPhillipsRC well ain’t that neat!
Spread the lips and cram it in, LMAO.. that was just too funny!
;)
I'm bad about asking questions three years later I forget to look at the dates it was streamed sorry air Marshall crashed his plane like this one awsome vidio
Crashing plane is a part of the fun ;)
sweet plane man hi from uk
It sure is!!! Hi there from Central Iowa, USA!
I have had many FMS planes I think they are top notch . FMS / Eflight is the way to go
I wouldn't say they use substandard anything.
Chucky - Agreed - they back stuff up nicely. Mark of a good company.
Mike - Yep, for sure! Not the cheapest, but you know you're getting into something solid. Definitely NOT "project planes" ;)
it warns you its turning off. just like the old spektrum, theres as delay before it fully turns off.. for safety. you can turn it back on and it wont disconnect if you do so before the beeps end
The NX6?
@@BrianPhillipsRC dx. i guess its more of an issue with a slider switch.
GORGEOUS 😂😂🤣🤘
Absolutely!
Can you please do a second thoughts on the 1.5 turbo timber really like to see another vid on that plane deciding whether or not to buy that one👍🏼
I will do that for you, but not sure of the timing on the release. We just filmed a bunch of "second thoughts" videos today, but you're 100% right, we need to do another Turbo Timber 1.5m second thoughts
Awesome look forward to it thanks love your videos!!!
You need to try the FMS Extra 330 2000mm
I just did the Extra 300 ;)
Tenho um modelo desse!!! Muito top!!
Nice!!!
You should get a trainer let the camera crews Fly it 😁
She doesn't want to fly, so probably not gonna happen ;(
Been flying mine for 3 years now, where you been?
Busy with other planes, but wish I would have had it before now - it is phenomenal!
Thanks!
You're welcome! THANK YOU DAVID!!!
Is that nose wheel plastic or metal? It looks pretty flimsy.
Metal with plastic details (similar to other FMS models). I wouldn't describe it as flimsy, but I would describe it as SHORT...and beautiful ;)
why not get the nx10 rather then the nx8?
If you have the money get the NX10 obviously more channels , hall affect gimbals , way longer battery life , nice magnetic charger , neck trap and bragging rights at the field .
@@Mike-hr5ng plus a lot pre loaded airplane models on the radio. I got mine a few weeks ago. Great radio
Stop rubbing it in Mike - LOL ;)
@Garage928 - you too - LOL ;)
How to get I one from Bangladesh?
could you do the fms beaver 2000

Congrats Samuel!
Can you do some more airliner vids
I want to do some more, but not sure when. We'll try to get some more in the near future.
DO you ms using
your 18 nice RADIO
Honestly, I kinda don't. It's an AMAZING transmitter, but the NX6 has been EXCELLENT!!! I could do a few more bells and whistles with the DX18, but the same is true with the NX8 and NX10...
@@BrianPhillipsRC I bought the NX10 love it
Does this have reflex installed?
According to the FMS website, this one does come with a Reflex... bprc.me/FMS_PC21_Pilatus
That's the only info we have to go on. If it's a deal breaker for you one way or the other, I'd reach out to FMS directly.

3 1/4 hours and it's not even a Dynam.😂 Informative with corrections. In a few more weeks you will have too many comments to reply to....good problem to have.
I have been there a few weeks - after about 3-4 hours of replying, it gets a bit old, but I know that so many just want to make that quick kind remark, and others have legit questions that I CAN help with, so like you said - great problem to have ;)
I assume you want a real airplane, what kind do you want
Yeah, I bet it can, but I bet it would drag the tail strike really easy on rotation.
