I love how, despite the fact that they made cuter versions of the characters and gave them preschool educational videos, they don't come off preschooly. They just have that great 80's/90's gag manga look. I greatly prefer these to the one where he looks like a sheep for some reason.

Godzilland is another part of the G experience I had only heard mentioned but never really seen until recently. It's just completely at odds with the tone of the only Godzilla I could find around the time. I can't imagine what my childhood would have been like with this much Godzilla overload. The Godzilla Compendium from the 90s was about all I had until the late 90s. Appreciate your videos. Give the doggo from the video game episode some scratches :-)

Even better is the short OVAS of godzilland me and my brother really enjoyed, love those designs! Never expected most of the Heisei era Godzilla characters got the Godzilland treatment (still missing Biollante, Battra, and SpaceGodzilla) heck, they made Destoroyah look cute!!!! Great to see godzilland get some love time after all these years!!!! 👍 *Cue Jet Jaguar giving a thumbs up*

A friend of mine took painting classes in college and made a picture for my birthday with godzilland Godzilla with a scepter and a crown to establish him as king of the monsters, wish I could show you it's really humorous XD
Godzilland is a great classic, ever since I heard about it I been surprised that Toho hasn’t given a single thought about modernizing the show upgrade it from being educational, to a fun cute animation of Godzilla and friends. Many fans including myself would love for Godzilland to return and a lot of us has interesting art pieces and ideas as to how it could work in todays animation and style.
If you like the art style of Godzilland, then you’ll like the Godzilla blind bags. I just got all of series 3 and I’m thinking of getting series 2, but sadly I had to find them on eBay because these bags are SUPER popular. Series 2 came out 3 years ago, and their lineup was spectacular with all Heisei kaiju. Series 1’s lineup looked ok (mostly Showa), but I wasn’t that intrigued. I do suggest you give these bags a try and see if you like their art style. You can still get an entire case of the series 3 blind bags, just not series 2.
In addition with the absolutely adorable Chibi Godzilla lineup, I think probably the closest things we have to Godzilland nowadays is Tsuburaya’s “Kaiju Step Wandadaba” and Evangelion’s “Yurushito” lineups

Can I ask a question? Did Japan end up adopting the name "Godzilla" over there instead of using Gojira? Because I keep seeing the English texts for these and I'm a tad confused on why they aren't using his Japanese name instead... Unless originally they wanted to bring over Godzilland here in the states but I doubt it... If anyone has an answer I'll greatly appreciate it.
They still call him Gojira.In fact the current official puppet show on youtube is called Gojiban on Toho's Japanese channel and Godziban on the English channel. Why this marketing thing was called Godzilland: For some reason Japanese products can have random English because its considered a cool aesthetic. However I didn't realize it went back so many decades.
There's a piece of merch MIB has that I kinda wish he would've addressed here cus I had never seen it before. It was this pretty cool chibi like Destroyah figure that really resembled a Godzilland version of the character. Everytime I tried searching for it, I couldn't find it and I also don't recall which vid I saw the figure in. Hope someone can help me out cus it's pretty cool.

If I remember correctly, the concept of multiple ghidorahs has been in other pieces of Godzilla media so your theory is possible.
