Everybody always plays this piece way too loudly in fast passages marked p or even mp. Basically, it is real easy to pound away at the keys whenever the music gets fast and furious. It is a sign that the performer does not has as precise control of their instrument, if they have to play fast passages way too loudly. A piano with an irregular or poorly adjusted action will lead the performer to form this bad habit. There are some very delicate moments in all 3 of these pieces that are totally lost in most performances because of this flaw in technique. Simply look at the dynamic marks throughout this piece and compare to what you hear. BAM, BAM. BAM, when the music gets too fast.
Very powerful! I'm glad to have stumbled upon this piece :)
