T.K. really is being very modest here. I am in the club .I own 2 st.blues guitars,,they are truly magical and the FINEST CRAFTSMANSHIP that you will ever see. 1985 ish eliminator body, Giant 1950s like telecaster neck. This guitar sounds better than anything I have ever played in 42 years of playing. Thank you Tom. And crew.

I own the first Bluesmaster prototype. It’s book matched flame maple sunburst. I traded a bicycle for it when I was 12 years old in 1984 from a kid in my neighborhood. It’s been refretted with jumbo wire by TK, the man himself when he was still working at strings n things. Everything is original except for the bridge pickup. The guitar is the only guitar I’ve kept long term and I’ve owned maybe 50-60 guitars. It’s very special to me and it’s been rock n rolled all across the delta and the country. I also know where an amazing flamed Excalibur prototype is located that’s also amazing.
Many great players and celebrities have played this guitar and I’ve never had another guitar so well received by others. I also unearthed #8 1954 Stratocaster in 1989 when I was 17 years old. I was VIP at a Stevie Ray Vaughn/Ernie Isley show in Tulsa and Cesar Diaz ended up buying the guitar. I never found out if Stevie bought the guitar because he was sick all day and the night of the show also, so he didn’t hangout with us. It remains one of the rarest strats ever found and I’d give anything to be able to time machine back and not have done that. The guitar had been played so much that the neck appeared scalloped in places and the frets were worn almost flush with the neck. It was a sight to behold and play.
Long live St. Blues and God bless Memphis Tennessee ❤

I have a 1988 St. Blues strat style guitar--it looks very similar to SRV's Hamiltone without the inlays on the neck of course. It has been an incredible instrument. The sales person told me the guitar was made for the guitarist of Styx and when they came through a few weeks before they forgot to pick it up. So they sold it to me for $800. I played just about every Strat they had and none of them really did it for me. I played a G chord on the St. Blues and immediately asked how much they wanted for it. It just sounded so much better than all the other strats.

I have a King Blues Bass, refined in Memphis. Fabulous bass. I'll never change it even for a more expensive one of another brand. Perfect finitions, the most comfortable neck ever played. You play once a St Blues and you never change. And mine is "just" a Refined in Memphis...

I have an ‘85 model strat style with one Humbucker/one single coil that I just acquired last night. Can’t wait to string it up and give it a test drive.
