    I've heard mostly from other Chinatown residents who have lived in the area for years, say that the Chinese Hospital located on Jackson Street is NOTORIOUSLY HAUNTED... So many people have DIED there, that the ghosts virtually outnumber the number of living residents in all of Chinatown itself! Ghosts walking in the hallways, voices of long-dead patients calling out to the nurses who used to care for them, corpses moving around in the morgue, ect. The upper floors of that hospital (now converted into a filing storage area) is fulla strange unexplainable paranormal activity, and is generally a VERY CREEPY place that you simply DO NOT want to be alone up there by yourself at night. You get this weird, overwhelming feeling like as if you're being WATCHED by HUNDREDS of eyes when there's obviously NOBODY else up there. Some say, that you tend to lose all track of time while you're up there, and that you'll somehow just keep getting lost and have a really hard time finding your way outta there; VERY SCARY if ya think about it. Other things to consider, is if you look closely at all of the apartment buildings and homes located on the outside of the quiet alleyway on the opposite side of where the hospital stands (on the right); you'll prolly notice that most of the residents who live there along that alleyway (presumably Chinese folks) hang up 'Baguas' outside of their front doors and windows. The windows themselves are also boarded up, and many have charms and talismans posted on them to ward off evil spirits. I think that just having those things alone, should speak for themselves!

    Golden Gate Park is every bit as SCARY as Central Park in New York... I've known friends who drove through that park late at night back in the 80's (when there weren't nearly as many homeless people around in SF), and they claim to have seen some very strange-looking people who were either sitting or hanging from the trees by the side of the road; staring directly at cars as they pass by. Their gaze is just absolutely like, outta this world BONE-CHILLING and could possibly cause you to have a car accident if you stared at them for too long. One thing that stands out about these 'strange people in the park' is that they just seem to GLOW in the dark with an eerie blue-whitish color eventho there weren't any lights shining on them. After they witnessed that SHIT, my friends started packing weapons like baseball bats and crowbars in their cars when they traveled at night!

    Are any of you familiar with Dolores Park? That whole entire neighborhood back there is reputed to be HAUNTED... Cuz I used to attend Mission High School back in the 1990's, and both me and my fellow classmates (plus a few teachers and staff) have all seen a ghost there on the 4th floor... The ghost is that of a former teacher or student who usually appears to students who are in their Senior year or to janitors working there late at night. There are like some supply rooms and a few old disused classrooms or workshops on the 4th floor that were closed off while I was attending there back then. From the best of my memory; it appeared to look like a semi-transparent female figure of short stature, dressed in winter attire (a red and white Christmas-patterned sweater and brown bell-bottom corduroy pants), and sports a bowl-shaped pageboy hairstyle, holding a binder against her chest. She looked like someone from right out of the late 1960's or early 1970's. We couldn't quite see her face cuz she had her head down (as if she was in despair) and all her hair was covering it. This was during our lunch break period at noon, and we had noticed her standing down the hallway for quite some time. What's odd was that she was standing at the opposite end of the hallway from us, right by the stairway and away from the big glass windows that allowed for the sunlight to shine through on the 4th floor. She didn't move or even say a thing, and just stood there that whole time while we were there. It didn't strike us that she was a GHOST, until we had made our way back down to the ground floor by the courtyard area. And when we finally DID realize what we had just saw; we grew pale in the face, hauled our asses right outta there and ran all the way back to our classroom at like TWIN-TURBO SPEED!!! There are rumored to be ghosts also in the gym areas and even the locker/shower rooms as well, but I'm not gonna get into all that spooky shit. I heard that the school was built right over an Indian cemetery. Early builders who worked on building the school way back then, have even discovered the bones of Native Americans!

      Interesting….I worked at the UCSF Campus in Laurel Height, formerly Fireman’s Fund and the engineers and custodians swear they saw ghost in the evenings in the lower floors. This building was built on a former cemetery. I wonder if those other places you mentioned were also former cemeteries?

    • @OtomoTenzi
      @OtomoTenzi 2 года назад

      @@fatsojung1 I can assure you, that ANY of the parks or wooded areas in SF were all once cemeteries or graveyards back in the earlier days... I have forgotten the name of that building (or whatever they may call it now), but that big gray/blue building at UCSF where you go for blood tests? Yeargh, the area behind that building is off-limits cuz it used to be a SUICIDE HOTSPOT for many med students back in the 70's throughout the 90's. Jumpers, overdosers, and wrist-slashers just to name a few!
