Saw these guys in 1987 at the Silver Dollar Saloon in Lansing, Michigan. They were just called Wrathchild at that point. They were supposed to play the entire week, but they were too fast and too loud, which meant the dance floor was empty that first night, so they were fired. My ex-girlfriend and I partied with the band after the show. The party was eventually broken up by the one-armed motel manager with a shotgun. Too many fans crowded into their rooms. We hung out mostly with Shannon. So glad to see he's still finding success all these years later.
@@besteverepicmillennial5927 Not sure. I do know they added America to their name because of British pop band had copyrighted the name Wrathchild. The American band split up a few years after I saw them.
Wrathchild was Awesome, changed their name to Souls At Zero and the legend continued. Check them out. Drummer, Shannon Larkin, went in to play for Ugly Kid Joe and is currently with Godsmack
Such a kick ass and original band. Saw them years ago in a club in Corpus Christi TX, they were opening up for Kings X, they were intertaining indeed !
And his kit was black and white as well I believe? Yes saw these guys many times prior to their albums being released…..back when they were a 5 piece and Brad was just lead singer.
@@seamus2112ophelan i remember the night their bass player got beat up and played from the side of the stage if I remember correctly it was at the Sandbar in Rivera beach
Not a big fan of the video , sounds a little like Metallica to me ( specially the voice ) and the artwork of the album doesn't grabbed my attention....
They were a kickass group as far as skill and talent all in all but truth about them they just struggled to make a hit. You’re exactly right everything is just kinda bland, it doesn’t demand attention
I'd love to see this band reunite and make records again. A very underrated band that deserved more success than they got.

Does anybody remember when Shannon had black and white hair 🤷🏻♀️
I remember it well. He even had one eyebrow white! :)
