You only have the variety "Anna", which is originated from Israel. We have it, but only sell it as cross-pollinator. It's not a good variety for commercial purposes actually Tony. Short shelf life, not the consumers preference and just not suitable to replace the imports from SA. We imported over 50 varieties to EA, and made 5 years R&D to evaluate which ones are actually working around the equator. We export quality apple trees to Uganda and all African countries ;). We are tamu tamu tanzania. East Africa’s first commercial apple farm + apple tree nursery 🍎🍏

@@moidee74 We are tamu tamu tanzania (ttt), and here at ttt we are excited to deliver high-quality, grafted apple trees to many countries. We imported more than 50 different apple varieties in 2017, subsequently evaluating these in a 5 years R&D phase to identify the most suitable varieties for African countries around the equator. Our vision is to create a prosperous apple industry in many African countries, to generate life-changing income streams for investors in the apple value-chain.
Important information: - We generally advise low-density, conventional planting methods, i.e., tree spacings = 3m x 3m = 1100 trees per hectare (450 trees per acre). - Trees for all export customers are produced in January, to be ready for shipping in the second half of July. - Trees are shipped via air-freight, with all shipping costs paid by the customer. Expect to pay USD 1-4 per tree for logistics, depending on destination country and quantity ordered. Minimum order size = 500 trees. Before placing an order: - Please acknowledge that your farm location is VERY important, both the latitude and elevation (metres above sea level). - Please study carefully our on-line information materials (RUclips and LinkedIn are in English). - Please send to us an email describing your farm - location (with Google Earth coordinates), elevation, source of irrigation water, and distance to market (kms & hours driving time). info@tamutamutanzania.com We will advise on the most suitable varieties for your situation, or advise you very honestly against investing in commercial apple production.
Great information. Thank you!
