Inspiration behind this video:
Kraven the Hunter's trailer was released June 19, 2023, and provided a better understanding of what the movie itself would be about. Based on this trailer, Kraven the Hunter appears to be an origin story for the character, who is depicted more as an anti-hero than his traditional supervillain setup. However, this may be more reflective of the fact that the trailer details Sergei's traumatic childhood and subsequent desires for revenge, as the final movie could well showcase a more morally void characterization. Crucially, the timeline of the movie has Kraven's childhood set in modern times, suggesting elements of his backstory will see drastic changes.
With new details surfacing about Kraven the Hunter, there is speculation that the film could somehow connect to the version of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom Holland's Peter Parker has already taken part in his own trilogy in the MCU, comprising Spider-Man: Homecoming, Far From Home, and No Way Home, and has appeared in a variety of team-up films also. However, he hasn't crossed over with the SSU - at least not yet - so it's less likely that Kraven will be introduced into the MCU, and almost definite that Kraven the Hunter will be set in the same universe as Venom and Morbius.

@@TheLastRelevantSage2 Based on the comic arc, I believe this movie is the second movie of four with the first movie being Madame Webb which just came out and is truly hated. I believe the third move will tie all the main characters of the two movies and the fourth movie will introduce Peter Parker.

Kraven has been my favorite Spidey villain ever since I was a kid, I've been champing at the bit to see him make his big- screen debut ever since the first Tobey Maguire Spidey film in 2002, and for him to do so in his very own movie is more than I could have dreamed of!

Hear me out. Madame Web was a directorial debut and was written by the same people who wrote the criticaly panned Dracula Untold, The Last Witch Hunter and Gods of Egypt, while this movie is written by the two guys who wrote the favorably received Iron Man 1, Expendables 2 and All 3 Equalizer movies.

I wonder who's Spidey that is? I think that has the potential to be great and if it does end up being set in the same universe as venom etc then it's a perfect way to show that varients can look like heroes from other universes

That’s not Rhino. The Rhino in the comics was strong, brutal but ultimately pretty dumb. Also, his “rhinoceros” skin was grafted onto him (later in the character’s history). This made him somewhat tragic as it made him harder to hurt but nearly impossible for him to feel anything.
Looks OK tho ig at least I think it looks better than how marvel have tried to have him in the movies in the past I think it looks better than the mechanical suit from...I think it was from TASM but this looks better than that in my opinion
