My dad had a stingray when I was a kid his was a green and white one the red ones in the video he said had a small block when we were purchasing ours the red one was the better one it had a big block 454 so I'm not sure if he's correct but I can tell the red one in this video is a little bit of a newer model compared to my dad's
The biggest head turner I see are still the old 41-47 Apache boats. If I couldn't get an Apache, I'd go with outerlimits 36SL, or the 42 Statement VHull.

2years ago , I purchased a 34' SCAREB 3 , in the middle of Oregon drought, been in the lakes anyway. Love it , makes a NICE FATHER'S DAY ,& summer come true!!

If going to dream big the Skater 40 is my pick . The Skater 388 would work too . Skater boats are wickedly fast bad ass boats . My million dollar dream boats ..
Bang for the buck I would go with the Stingray. Biggest and baddest would have to be the 52MTI with a hydraulic canopy that you can raise and just step down into the boat and 2000hp turbines. In the Center Console class I would go with the 70' Mystic and 2400hp diesels.
When i lived in the u.s.v.islands a few years ago,My good buddy bought a donzi 50 footer,with twin spec.ed blued out mercruiser 575z I think.all chromed out.he had 8th delivered to st.. Thomas.. it was so smooth spanning the waves.even in rough seas we could go full throttle and get anywhere in the us via iron bis pending more time at our destinations it was also a luxury yacht with widescreens,fridges,freezer 3 bedrooms ,showers,baths.....the seats on deck would slowly since tighter around shoulders and waste and as more speed increased tne more it held you in as the motorized bottom seat fell away so you could help with shock absorption by standing and using your knees.l.lbut the most amazing feature it had (and my favorite too)was,,,,it could remove a bikini top in a blink of an eye.....there's nothing a girl can do to stop it.she might succeed for a couple of minutes at 3/4 throttle.....but somehow it always found it's way into the ocean.along with sunglasses,hats......and if the boat was anchored or standing still it would get women to be half or whole naked just being on it....
I say the stingray 225sx...the price to boat ratio is more in my budget, but im a bit bias seeing how i own a 2000 stingray 230sx with a merc 454 mag mpi n bravo 1 outdrive n the thing is awesome topping out at about 70mph...everything elds is just unobtainium to me...but i still dont see how there wasn't even 1 dcb model featured.

I ultimately went in another direction(24' Carlson Trimaran 700hp BBC)but I could not find another boat in Stingray's class that was as fast as it was. Even the small block 225 ran over 60! Have you got pics and/or video of your boat you can post here or on your channel? I agree leaving DCB out was a major mistake. The 41 is on a par with the MTI 39 and 42 in every way.
@@dieseldog00 the 230sx was available with a 502 merc n later models were offered with volvo penta engine/outdrive packages but unfortunately the 230sx model is no longer manufactured...the 225sx is basically a 230sx with smaller engine options.

Gino's MTI 44 Mercedes silver cat had 1550 Sterlings and he ran 193. He also blew the deck cleats off Reggie's "Cat Killer" V bottom several years ago at that poker run on the east coast when Reggie tried to show up the fleet. Shut him up quick LOL.

Well they actually are 1350's when run on 91 octane pump gas, but when run on actual race fuel they will put out 1550 hp.
