I've found that early on that is the best way to earn caps but when you are able to train the luck of dwellers the bonus cap rewards give the most caps .

I swear I have created my 4th vault so far, after 3 failed attempts I simply ''euthanized'' the previous ones, more than an Overseer I feel like the Matrix's Architect guy who creates and destroys as he seems fit without consideration for the dwellers, ha ha ha.......... cant seem to progress no matter how hard I try and my dwellers start falling like flies sooner or later, by attacks, infestations or failed rushes! lol...I am not a good overseer, ha ha ha ;). lots of caps seem to be the only solution to my problems.
there's another (and quicker) way to collect caps, and without risk of fires or invasions, it needs to have a good sight and be quick. sometimes (quite often really) a °secret agent° appears, dressed like sherlock holmes, in a random room for abot 10 seconds: if you click on him you get a casual amount of caps. I get never less than 100 caps but once received more than 5K CAPS!!! quite often you receive about 500 - 1K
dude, when you give a tutorial with 44 people in your shelter, its irrelevant, you start from the beginning and give us a real tutorial, once youve got past the benchmark of course its easy to get anything.
