I love this movement/embellishment; however I think he did not explain that he collects his left leg when he crosses her and then with the same leg he walks with her. At the end he does not, the most of times he collects after the pivot.

Yes around 5.06 shows that well, at 5.22ish he collects with a lovely little circular embellishment!
