If you do a Lego themed tank you may want to glue each Lego piece together and your ray has grown
Love the home videos mate big inspiration, maybe you could do a pond.
I guarantee you your have to move him or move others there a shy fish when it comes to humans ( unlike a amp) but towards other fish they seem to get great delight out of just chasing them to a stressful death

The 4ft in the house could be a cool display for the Lego when the loaches are in the 10ft, I'm sure the kids would enjoy that.
I enjoyed the content you made at your brother's pond, would be good to see that in the spring and do a follow up on the filter setup, or a pond build.
Obviously it has an expense but maybe an plumbed in water change system for the fish room or 10ft could be cool, depends how much enjoyment you get from maintenance.

Nice Mate! got 2 males and a female red `terror, so hoping to breed them as well. Unfortunately fish hobby is no where near as big here as it is in US and UK. So even getting proper tank builds is hard to find. Enjoy you channel and all the best for the new year. Greetings fro South Africa

We have a fish room with 22 home aquariums and some 3 rice fish pounds, summer would be better though when the rice fish ponds are in full swing and we have completed our fish custom fish rack to make 25 aquariums. Festae are awesome. That male will get big, I’ve heard of 16” total length. My old one got 12” quick. And it will be aggressive and territorial as it gets big, Oscars or not.
It’ll destroy all them Geo’s if you’re not careful.
The females are the pretty ones, the males are bland in comparison. You should see my female, it’s stunning!
If you get a female and they decide to spawn it’ll be absolute chaos. Trust me, I’ve just had my female spawn in my tank.
Not sure id breed that one with the mouth deformity though.

Won't the, geophagus(spelling?) cichlids fall victim to some nasty bullying from the red terror?!?!
I know the Geo's are also cichlids ("earth eaters" I think) but aren't they far more docile in comparison to some of those, Central and South American cichlids of the hobby?
Aren't the earth eater cichlids on a similar level of temperament to, ram and kribensis cichlids? Obviously the Geo's are far larger than the latter 2 I mentioned but, I'm just curious! I really am not sure.

The Lego scape sounds interesting. But I’d be careful with it. If the plastic leaches micro plastics your fish are not going to have a good time at all

I’ve had red terrors in the past they are a great fish but did find them to be aggressive, especially when breeding, probably best to keep a pair in a tank by themselves mate.

when he starts to grow he will be the dominant fish and i fear for the geo,s mine was about 12" sl and ripped anything in the tank.
I need to keep a close eye on him. Hopefully getting a female soon there are going in the 6ft tank

They are sveni geos mate. The biggest is about 10-12 inches maybe a bit more
Red terror are so pretty but so aggressive might beat up geo

A just acclimate all me fish like you have or float them in the water and but a cup of water in every 5 minutes till 30 minutes
Is it possible to move your tanks so it’s an L shape so you can see in them better when you make content?

Lovely fish but a terrible mix with Geos. If he decides to, he'll make mince meat out of them, especially when he gets bigger. Geos cannot handle these more aggressive SA cichlids, they are as bad or worse than most of the big centrals.
