I’m 67 years old you bring back good memories thank you sir
same here✌️
Glad it’s bringing back good memories 😊
Put different motor
Vehicle cheap on g as
Me too, I had a fairlane with the 200 ci ,had 220,000+ miles sold it, lady drove it until she pulled out in front of a pickup, it was declared dead. Tuff old car.
I really appreciate that you kept it a six cylinder car, so many people face the slightest difficulty and just force a V8 in.
How true! I've always liked the 6s
That is how real mechanics deal with revivals!
Sometimes we’ve gotta do what we gotta do! 😃
I love the model of that 1964 Ford Falcon 4-door sedan completely luxurious. Here's a motto, "Bring these old cars back on the streets again." Thank you. 😃😃😃😃👍👍👍👍👍
My husband had a 2 door Falcon, same blue color ,& similar body style when he got out of high school in 1973. That car was where i learned how to drive a 3 in The Tree 😊 was held on with a 10 penny nail😅
Brought back good old memories 👍🏽
Great little video, but wish it was a little longer. Cool old falcon.
Mr. B. Here ! Good to see one more saved , I know it’s a 4 door , but look around and most vehicles today are 4 doors ! This will be a fun car ! Good luck ! 🧰🛠️⚙️🔧🔩🧰🛠️⚙️🔧🔩. 🍺🍺🍺👍👍👍
It's nice to see simple cars getting attention
Always enjoy seeing your family working together!
thanks fellas, keeping it a six makes me happy
Changing the engine was the better option. Can't wait for the next video ❤
Awesome job the black and the red head is awesome good match it would be pretty sweet to put a red pen stripe down the top of it but still very awesome
This takes me back 50 years to helping my Dad in his garage, he did plenty of engine swaps like this--and some really wild ones! Miss those days, miss him and Mom...
I just got up. Made a coffee and sat down. Taking my morphine. So glad you out something online again. I can't do too much. Sleep, bed and couch it is. But I'm in good spirits. I will laugh at all this in 2 months time. Patient Rob, Cairns, Far North Queensland, Down Under
Enjoyed this episode! Cherish working together with your dad. Those are some precious memories!
Really glad you enjoyed! 😊 Very much so ☺️
@@BudgetBuildz It reminds me of when my dad was alive when we worked on our cars. Now, some of the best memories I have of him. I will never forget him ❤️.
What an amazing piece! I have never seen anything like it. I can't imagine how much time went into restoring it, let alone your skill and talent. Bravo!
Thank you!
I really dig the Ford Falcons: simple lines, L6, simple interior but all work well together! Beautiful car and nice job!
I totally agree. Beautiful little cars.
We have to agree, they’re so simple and classy! Thanks so much! 😃
Remarkable and superlative enthusiasm. Noteworthy knowledge and all that jazz. That Falcon is gonna be sweet.
Love it when you can bring an old rig back to life!!! I love videos like this one! AND, you get to work with your Dad...that's awesome!!!
Really glad you’re enjoying!! I’m definitely very thankful to get to work with my Dad!! 😊
I appreciate the fact that this video took place in a span of a few months and even tho you guys couldn’t make it run your guys where honest in the fact that you can’t save them all! Thanks guys for posting and always being up front !! Much love from Orange County California ✊🏻✊🏻 keep up the good work we are behind y’all
We owned a '64 four-door automatic way back when. They're actually a nicer car than they're given credit for. I'd have liked the opportunity to restore one like yours, but I'm 76 and my restoring days are behind me. I'll be following this one with interest. Good luck!
Your dad looks like he could be your younger brother 😀This has quickly become one of my favorite channels, thanks for sharing this with us.
Great to see the Falcon fire up. Best thing to do to change the motor. Looking forward to the next one 👍
I love the old Falcons from 1960 - 1971, both Aussie and US models.
Trust me guy's, there are hotrodders and car lovers here in New Zealand who would give their right testicle to find these cars, and restore them to either show room condition or daily runners like you do. So well done for breathing new life into these classic cars. Love your channel and look forward to the next video.
Not just in NZ... my cousin-in-law in Australia is going to drool over this Falcon revival!
@@kristoffermangila Heard that mate. Kiwi's and Aussie's love Falcons.
That Falcon is even the correct color; Green. Good job on this rescue.
I love Falcons as I had 2 1970 Mavricks with 200 CI engines. They are awesome. Waiting for the next phase guys!
I was here wondering that you were going to put a v8 on it. But for sure keeping the 6cyl was the best for the little Falcon! Hope to see you saving a Studebaker some day.
That’s a shame that motor wouldn’t break free.
Great job guys 👍
It will, but proper motivation takes time.
I wish it would’ve spun free for us! If it was a bit better condition, we would’ve made it happen for sure. Thank you!! 😊
Cool little car. its not always an easy save but glad to see it getting saved
Thanks! Sometimes they’ll put a whooping on you, that’s for sure 😅
I look forward every week to seeing your show thank you very much 😀
You can’t save everything. Be a nice car when it’s down. It’s great seeing you dad and you working so well together. The over head shots are a nice touch 👏👏
Glad you put the 3.3L in there with original Carb, superb! Big fan of your content.
I’d rather watch you guys than any other similar channel on RUclips, keep it up!!
Great video enjoy watching keep up the great work
These four door Falcons are the ones that mainly met their final fate with the crusher, but they're MY favorite, in oddball speak. Probably on account of my mother.
Sane people question my acquisition and ownership of so many Falcons. Nice job putting this old girl back on the road. My first driver was a '65 4 door not unlike this one.
What a beauty, we NEED to see a build series with a re vamp or even a v8 swap..!
Definitely more coming! 😃
That 170 will make a good end table in the living room.
My dad had a very used '61 Falcon and the engine always runs bad, yours is a jewel!! Congrats!!
Cool, that '64 should run real nice w/that 200ci in her! Sweet!
Back in 1979 I bought a 1969 Ford Falcon Futura 6 Cylinder 3 on the Tree with under dash A/C with 28,000 original miles. The car was a trade in from a Senior Lady who worked in our local natural gas office. Was a robin's egg blue as my mom called it I drove it 3 or 4 years and sold it my 64 year old self looks back on my 20 something self and just shake my head for getting rid of it. It had the original spare with the green on the whitewall and was totally immaculate. Her sister had a I think it was a 65 Dodge Dart that she still had when she passed away I tried to find out how to buy it but hit dead ends it was just as clean as that Falcon and had a small V8 with push button trans with factory A/C.
Thats going to be a fun ride for somebody. Good call on switching out the engine. Looks and sounds great!
Missed you guys!!! So happy! You made my Tuesday ❤
This one was a nice rescued good to see it come back 👍
Another awesome will it run, fellas! Nice work! What I really like about your channel is your attention to detail. You not only found a great donor motor, but you also took the time to make it look really nice and clean with the new paint. Looking forward to the next installment where you detail it and fix the brakes.
When I was a boy scout they taught us to leave a campsite better than we found it. That Falcon is for sure going to be left way way better than when you found it
@@gispel7058 Scouting was a great thing... before they lost their way. I wish half of America would pull their collective heads out and get back to the principles we had in scouting - we'd be far better off for it and it would show immediately in every city & town nationwide. Here's a tip of the cap from one former scout to another. Best wishes!

@@MaxGiganteum hey Max....Eagle Scout here 1973. Philmont ulumni. Order of the Arrow. Be prepared my friend.
Yeah scouting has been infiltrated by the usual suspects bent on destroying a great institution.
I really enjoy all of your videos, they are great to watch. I love the way you use methods that me myself are using. Nothing fancy, just straight down to business with basic tools like wire brushes and some chemicals to make wonders. Not like the overly complicated other tv-shows that is soda blasting and making stuff that no ordinary person could do in their garages. Not to mention the crazy budgets all those "super-restorers" have. This is downright genuine and so charming and fun to watch. Everytime you put on an new video it is like christmas eve for me! Keep up the good work! Greetings from Sweden!
I had that exact car in high school 😮 that 170 special and three speed will climb anywhere. I took her up many Jeep hill climbs and amazed those driving 4x4s. She’ll run no problems can’t kill that lawnmower lol
Love these vintage American rigs
Sweet little car. Glad you saved it.
I think it would be cool to see yall build a car and take it on Hot Rod Power Tour. As always, love the content. Keep up the great work.
That straight six sounded nice.....Look forward to the next video on this...🤔😳😳😮😀😀🇬🇧
The first car I owned when I moved to the US in the late 1970s was a 1964 Ford Falcon. It looked like hell but it was a great car. It would always start no matter how cold the weather. I even used avgas in it during the oil crisis in 1979 without any problem. One drawback though, was that the steering wheel would get burning hot from the sun during the summer and freezing cold in winter.
The engine sound is just unbelievable! Thanks for another awesome video
So glad to see you fellows bring this little Falcon back to life! Great job guys! Can't wait to see the detailing video next!
Thanks so much! Can’t wait to share more 😊
Another lovely little runner, great job and much appreciation from over in the UK. 👍
Just as I was wondering if someone from Europe caught this fun episode & here You are @theconfessionsof_a! Hope You caught the 911 Targa Rebuild!
From what looked like impossible soupy salvage to a stunner! Working with his father is another bonus! Cheers from Canada :)!
@@timothywachowicz8308 absolutely, I've followed this chanel for ages, I look forward to porche episodes. I also love the cars and the laid back approach. The big plus is a Son and Dad combo, how cool is that!
@@theconfessionsof_a Wonderful & a wonderful channel! The laid back projects are fun also like this Falcon, for sure! I started with the Targa about a year ago & enjoyed others since. Father & son together having fun is sublime! These 2 are such gentle & likeable souls as well! How cool is that is right!
Thanks for taking a moment to satisfy my curiosity in sharing the goodness!
this is one of my favourit Fords as well the fairlane with the 289k eazy servicing or the 200ci, these 200s wher so dam eazy to service and work on ☺️ thanks for posting this! cheer's 🍻
While the original engine is a minor setback, having a backup that swaps right in will ensure that both Falcons will live on. I'll be looking forward to more on this rescue👍
It's good that there was still a replacement engine.
You find the coolest projects!!!
Nice find. I would love to find one in that shape. Hopefully you will be able to get the Engine unstuck in the near future. Liked and shared. All my best.
My very first car (in 1970) was a '64 Falcon, 170ci I6, three on the tree almost exactly like this. Mine was a two door, black instead of green.
I like how you keep sections of the projects together even when it takes awhile to make progress. Nice video.
Beautiful XM Falcon 👍
I love the model of that car here's an old sane, "Bring these old cars back."
Well done 👏 can't wait for the clean up
El Falcon... recordado símbolo en Argentina por muchos 🔵⚪🔵
Thank you for this😊
those were wonderful little cars !!!!!!!!!!!!
Please use this music in the future, I really like them. I'm Hungarian living in LA.
Wow!! Well done!!
I LOVE inline sixes!
cliford, 600 cfm, 280 comp cams, interior and wheels and tyres brakes
TLC great old car, My dad bought a brand new 1960 when they arrived at Ford show room. Plain Jane as they come, but a wonderful car. Just the basics mam.
Looks good, good job.
Nice job guys 👍🏼
I love Ford Falcon!!
Awesome video great update on the Ford
Thanks!
Thanks so much for the support!! 😊
I love that straight 6 burble.. too many v8s, not enough straight 6s..
Cannot wait for the next episode please dont take to long with the next episode pleassssssssse!!!!!
I have seen worse. It’s hard to kill those Ford straight 6 cylinders.Looks like the oil was not changed on regular basis. Glad you had that other engine. Sounds good. Thanks for sharing! 💯👍👊
How many people today can work a "three on the tree"? I learned to drive on one way back when. For me, you are the best vlog on youtube. Thanks!
Very cool, what ever it takes too get back on the road, good job guys!
Some engines are just done. Good choice to drop the other engine in there. I love old Falcons !!
G, day the mighty ford can't kill them
I have a 62 falcon wagon. Bought it 5 years ago, haven't touched it in 3 years.
Bummer you gave up. Best part of your channel is you never let anything stop you
Great channel and you sir have a great personality
Thank you so much for that 😊😊
I bought my 65 falcon 170 6cyl. 3 on the tree back in '83 because it was cheap at $200.00 in nice shape and I wanted a car that was good on gas and easy to repair myself. I couldn't of chose a better car to meet those requirements guys! It's only fault was that 3 speed trans which went through synchronizes. After facing having to pull it for the 3rd time,a local junkyard operator said I should replace that "paper" tranny with a real one. I found a good 2speed fordamatic out of a wrecked 64 and installed it along with the steering column. I've only had to rebuild that fordamatic once since, and the car has 541,300 miles on it now after 40 years. It was116,000 when I bought it. They are tough dependable easy to repair cars especially when well maintained! The original 170 made it to 510,000 before the crankshaft rod journals became so worn it wouldn't keep bearings I bought a 200 cu.in. from a 64 comet. A great engine with 7 main bearings. The 170 only had 4. It was optional as was the 289 in 65. Loved your vid!!👍
Man, I sure would like one of those.
Good old dad great channel
Always love your videos.
Nice work yet again.
Really glad you’re enjoying! Thank you 😊
Another great episode from the boys!
Thank you for a nice fun video that's not an hour long.
My Grandfather had a 1961 Ford Falcon in Canada
I had a 200 in my 78 Mercury Zephyr, and I was going to swap in a 5.0 that I had for it. I blew the head gasket on it by driving the car over 100mph too often, and ran out of money and patience with the car (I was also between jobs at the time too). It would have been interesting to see what I could have done with that engine if I kept the car, but I can get to experience that now through this video...
It's like you put a big block 6-cylinder in the car, and I would imagine the car would be pretty quick with it...
Another great, no-nonsense video as always guys!
Nice video 📹 and workmanship it cleaned up nice !!! Try to get that engine unlocked 🔓 😎 machine cop operated
Beautiful car
1964 Ford Falcon was my 1st car 6 cyl. 3 on the tree like this one paid $895.00 for it in 1970 with about 80,000 miles. It always had a problem of overheating.
