I would love to see what you do or how you organize all your playbills! I know you have a few displayed but what about the rest?

when i saw kinky boots in march 2018, i met the guy who played lola/simon that day. wayne brady was not there that day so it was the understudy and i told him that he did amazing when he sang "hold me in your heart" and how it was his whitney moment and i can tell that meant alot to him. so i agree, you should totally try to tell an actor that they did a something specific that you liked. that might mean alot to them.

I wish I had known about stage door it seems like so much fun. Some Broadway plays I went to the actors signed stuff during intermission I don't know if that's still done since I haven't been to a show in New York since high school. Anyway great video I hope you are doing well and I hope you have a wonderful week.

Hi, great video! Since I am a frequent stage-doorer, I’d like to hear your opinion on two things: 1. If you see a show and someone you want doesn’t come out, is it okay to stop by the stage door without seeing the show on other nights? 2. Is it okay to continue waiting by the stage door after the barricades are put away?

I’ve been wondering that too, I’ve only seen tours so I never been to a stage door, but I would defiantly like to know for future preferences!

This may be TOTALLY unrealistic, but any way you could “host” a New York trip for people that have never been there? Show us the tips and tricks of the city and Broadway. Set up like a tour group with a set itinerary, only a limited number of people.
Not sure if that’s even possible with security, but just a thought!

Hikari Takamura I haven’t been stagedooring or seen a show on Broadway but since I’m going to see a show and I have been watching a lot of stagedoor videos I heard it is ok to give them stuff and they love fan art and little gifts

I just saw Phantom of the Opera last month on Broadway. Wish I had these tips before then. I could not find the stage door at all and kept looking for other people to follow to the stage door. Now I know to ask the ushers. Don't know why that never occurred to me. One question though, do you need to bring a pen or sharpie? Or do the actors usually walk out with one?

Hi! I have only been to the stage door once, and it was for a Broadway national tour. About half of the actors had pens with them, and half did not. I noticed that the people with bigger roles were the ones with pens, but I’m not sure if this is always the case. Hope this helps :)
