I'm so proud how Turkey is making itself on top of the world ranking. It is definitely going to hit back at those trying to take down its economy and finally make Liyra currency up again!
Turkey has always been in my list of favourites especially the Turkish cuisine. Now I do have one more to add up to the list... Indeed stunning airport view from Istanbul. Last 12 years I have traveled through many international airports and this is by far the biggest and beautiful airport, I should say I come across... The best part is not being overcrowded...

OMG been 17 countries, never seen an airport like this, this Airports surpassed Dubai, it is a masterpiece, Bravo Turks , you have impressed me, and the Travertine floors? wow, I Put some in my house, each peace cost me $75 dollars ,we are looking at a millions of dollars just on Flooring here, Led lights and ambience lighting, is superb.who design this?

This a very beautiful airport and made for many passangers so why does it seem so empty? Istanbul has more than 15 mill inhabitants (if not 20) there most be something wrong.

Thank you for the video. I personallt hate huge airports - they have no character, they are hell as you need to walk around A LOT (while you are jetlagged and exhausted already), the crowds are overwhelming, noise/light makes everybody more annoyed. Give me airports with smaller terminals; not vast spaces of nothingness.
@@AirportTraveller We also have to acknowledge how bad flying is for the environment. Until they create zero-emission planes, we should all try to fly less.
u r talkinn about an airoprt of a couple of plaines dropping by once or twice a week in a remote no-ones-land..a gigantic city like İstanbul has no choice but come up with such a grand airport...its specious..go n see it

I prefer airport with smaller terminals; they can be huge, but they have sections for each airline, or destination, not just one large terminal for all. This is also not an airport for Istanbul, but an airport for THY, for its transfer passengers. This is my personal choice and many agree with me. And once again. flying is very bad for the environment, let's not forget that and try to fly less. Taking care of our beautiful planet should come first.

Illegal to smoke in closed areas in Turkey cause sense of health. Probably there must be open areas for smoking
