      Awesome! So glad you found us!🙌🙌 Yes, we are definitely budget conscious travellers and Central America is perfect for that. One complicating factor with Covid is overland travel. We love chicken buses but they are typically crowded and so we wouldn't be comfortable in them right now. Where have you been in Latin America so far?

    Thumbs up not just for the video, but for public transportation. Love it love it love it. I am not a heights person, but I want to try ziplining at least once. I heard it is popular in Costa Rica as well. Lastly, speaking of sandwiches, we actually made an Aussie toastie the other day. :)

    • @BucketListTravellers
      @BucketListTravellers  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for the love 🙏😀 Public transportation is the only way to go! And a bonus if there are cute little ducklings on board 😍
      Zip lining is so much fun! You should definitely give it a try. Costa Rica sounds like a good place to do it with all that lush greenery around. You might even get to zip past a sloth, which we've just found out is called a "lazy bear" in Spanish.
      Good work with the toastie! We didn't realise it wasn't just an Aussie thing, so we've learnt something new today 😃

    So pretty. Thanks for sharing about the currency and power outlets. It's very practical info that I think other travel videos don't realize are so helpful. The same for the bus prices and routes. I would love if you would include temperature (F and C), best visiting seasons, and your recommendations. Rain season? Summer vs winter (or if no real seasons applicable due to being equatorial.) I also love that you share a recommendation of the tour guide for the area. I know if we go there, we'll definitely look up Samuel. You may want to mention in the video that there is contact info in the description below. The side benefit being that people who go there may also click on some other links you share.

      Thanks for the great feedback Scott! We'll work these into future videos. Yes you are right, there is a rainy season, so best time of year to visit would be December through to April. They also refer to the rainy season as winter as it is generally cooler, even though it is at the same time as the Northern hemisphere's summer!

      Hola Snake! Travelling through Central America is awesome and you will have a great time. We understand that El Salvador is open now and Costa Rica was supposed to open land borders from November. You can fly into Nicaragua from El Salvador, Mexico or Miami however we aren't sure about the status of the land borders. Unfortunately we dont know about Honduras or guatemala. You may need to have tests to fly into the countries, but we aren't sure on this. We do know that you need to have a covid test at $150US to fly OUT of Nicaragua at the moment. Good luck with your planning!
