Early in the game when I couldn’t pull a single copy of Brutus, I pulled this thing instead and used him as a proxy for Legend Trials. Lumonts nice to use with Antandra I guess.

How is Lumont surviving high deficit?
I’m new into the season (afk 3-400), pushing high (top 10 for afk stage rank) and my tanks last like 1-2, maybe 3hits. Trying thoran/antandra/brutus I have built. I’m guessing the low proficiency is killing them, but that’s how it’s gated.
Do you think Lumont will survive better? Or will he hit a limit also?
Edit: maybe evocation spell helps? I don’t have it, but i think it has some damage reduction? But the replays seem to be using different artifacts.

I have been using smokeys melt for more than a month to push afk and some other modes. If smokey can last till his 3rd ult its sure win. The only issue with smokey is the cancellation of healing when getting stunned.
I used to use lumont with smokey but in modes that can't be manually controlled lumont pushes enemies away from smokeys ult and save them, so stopped using him😅

Yeah, the Smokey dps is kinda nuts. Post like 900 its been all some variation of the team. I'm at 1040 now I really just want to be done with afk stages. Its beyond tedium at this point

I’m wondering if he is consistent and worth building if I have resources.

Afk pushing is not rewarding enough to try hard this much but it's good to see some intelligence in pushing them

Really interesting strategy, thanks for sharing it. I won't use it though. The investment/reward ratio doesn't worth in my opinion. At high deficit, 50 stages increases our essence only by 20-ish. I'd rather get copies of other maulers who are more versatile and can be use in different game mode

Deficit pushing just overhyped and stressed people out, wait a couple of days increase 10 resonances level, you will just pass the stage. Strategy in this game at this point just doesn’t mean anything, just a p2w game

He has potential but in my experience, the RNG of him pushing the enemies to my carries is unforgivable. I wish his kit is more like Raigor the Earthshaker in DotA.

At super high deficit pushing, you're gonna have to manual anyways... odie, Cassadee, eironn, lumont... yeah, they all have to be manually used for the smokey team. Well, Odie is mainly for team 2, but your probably still gonna have to manual him, especially if he is the team dps (multi, or single stage).
