The comments weren't lying this tutorial is hard to follow. It took me two hours and a butt load of spite (or patience, if you're lucky lol), but i managed to make one very lopsided, but adorable lil penguin. For those of you wondering, I used abt a 7-9ft long string and had abt 4ft leftover. I did have to fill him w beads to keep him round tho. And if you're wondering, his name is spite and i love him dearly :)
I filled my first one with beads too since I made it with elastic. lol It's an advanced tutorial. It would be a 30 minute tutorial easy if it was unedited. It's hard but not impossible. I think a lot of the kandi community is used to things being intuitive and this is not because it's a beading technique not often used in kandi. If you understand the right angle weave first it's going to be much easier to understand what's going on.
@@GingerCandE that's not the problem though, I would recommend using a string that wasnt clear and slowing down because obviously 97% of the people in your comments are frustrated and confused.
this tutorial is very fast and hard to follow. it would be beneficial to go slower and not have music playing, as it will help people be able to follow along better☺️
For the people who dont know how much string they need. I would use double wing span length (strart with your right or left arm and stretch the string until both arms are fully extended and make sure to do it twice) of string and just add more if needed :)
this is the first time I struggled with your tutorial bc i always watch your vids and successfully make some good kandi but this is so hard bc when u insert the string on those beads its not facing the camera :(
It would be super helpful if you could tell us how much string we need! Sometimes I try tutorials but didn’t cut off enough string so I have to stop and redo the whole thing because I didn’t know how much string I needed.
You can add on more string so you don’t have to redo the whole thing^^ here’s a tutorial I found for how to do that ruclips.net/video/-l0dS5OZD-Q/видео.html
please make a new tutorial of this, i can barely hear you, and it's way too fast, i normally make kandi to calm myself but watching this video made me extremely aggravated.
Me and my friend has gotten into kandi beading about a year or two ago, and we wanted to try something 3D. We found this video and thought the penguin was really cute! But like most of these comments said, the video was hard to follow. Maybe you could improve it by giving us how much string we need, and not cut the clips? I think that would help!
Please redo this tutorial and make it easier to follow. It’s not a matter of the design being hard it’s that you have music over it and you’re going very fast explaining everything. I feel like most people would rather have a 30+ min video to see how it’s done than a fast 10 min video
@@Sk8M8 she makes that music way louder than her voice so it's hard to hear what she's saying without it being turned all the way up and the music of course being distracting because of that
this is very hard to follow, the cuts and constantly moving out of the frame are so difficult to understand, i am a more visual follower than an audible one, please try to make your tutorials more explanatory and easier to read.
Nearly all of these comments are talking about how hard this tutorial was to follow. Do you think you could remake this video. More in-depth preferably?
This is the 2nd time I've made this video. People complained about it the first time too which is why I remade it. I've seen people successfully make the penguin from both versions of the tutorial. It's not a typical kandi stitch which makes it hard for a lot of people to follow. You have to know RAW pretty well. I may make a diagram to supplement it in the future but I don't see myself remaking it. I did make a diagram for the 3D turtle tutorial which can be found on my website.
This tutorial was very hard to follow, I didn't know how much string was needed, it was too fast, and I wasn't sure where the bead should have done, the string is clear, and every time you connected another one, it wasn't facing the camera. 3 minutes took me 20 minutes to do
Bro can u pls make another tut bc this is goijg to fast and do u really excpect us to go that fast? If we were kandi professionals we would prob not even need the tut and just PLSSSSSSSSSSSS go slower! I really wanna make it bc i cant and i already put the speed slower but i still cant understand :(
I totally messed up.......Somehow. And instead of my penguin ended up laying more on it's stomach. So I just stopped the video and turned my supposed to be sitting penguin to a penguin sliding on it's stomach. And boi....it's cuter then the one that's sitting.
I have a video on the Right Angle Weave. I recommend practicing the stitch first. This is a more advanced tutorial and can be difficult if you aren't familiar with the stitch.
naw I thought this was a really good tutorial, a little fast but just slow it down if you're struggling! these penguins are adorable!!! 🫶🫶 thank you sm for making this

way too hard to follow, can barely focus with the music and fell off when you said to "go up a white bead and into the blue," extremely vague and cut off the video
😂 I know it can be confusing at first. lol I recommend watching the video in full first. Learning and getting comfortable with a right angle weave. Then trying this out step by step slowly. It's an advanced technique.

Add on 4 beads and only cross through the last bead you added on. It creates a loop. It's a basic right angle weave stitch.
