    This video demonstrates the preparation of arbi tari wali sabzi. This can be served as a side dish for roti and rice.
    Ingredients :
    Arbi (Seppankelangu) - 3/4 kg
    Tomatoes - 4
    Curd - 1/2 cup
    Jeera - 1/2 tbspn
    Chilli powder - 2 tbspn
    Turmeric powder - 1 tbspn
    Garam masala - 1 tspn
    Coriander powder - 2 tspn
    Red chilli (long) - 1
    Green chilli - 2
    Ginger - 1/2 inch
    Asafoetida powder - 1tbspn
    Salt - per taste
    Oil - to fry and saute masala
    Steps to prepare:
    1. Seppankelangu- Peel off the skin and and cut in the form of round pieces.
    2. Add 1tbspn chilli powder, 1/2 tbspn turmeric powder, salt-per taste and mix it well.
    3. Deep fry in oil till Arbi turns half cooked.
    4. Prepare puree by grinding 4 tomatoes, 1/2 inch ginger and 2 green chilli together.
    4. In a kadai, pour 3tbpsn oil, put jeera, asafoetida powder-1tbspn, 1 red chilli and allow it to temper.
    5. Add puree, 1tbspn chilli powder, 1/2tbspn turmeric powder, 1tspn garam masala, 2tspn coriander powder and saute it well. Cook for 3-5 mins
    6. Add 1/2 cup curd, 1 cup water and mix it well. Allow it to cook till the oil separates from masala.
    7. Add the half cooked Arbi to it. Close the lid. Allow it to cook for 20-25 mins in medium flame
    8. Garnish with coriander leaves.
    Yummy Arbi tari wali sabzi is ready to serve.!!!

    Loved it. Will definitely try it. Pls show such thariwali subzi for Jimmikand/Chenai kizhangu as well. My mom used to make it but I completely forgot how she made it 🙏🏼
