Never Mtb'd: NYC-Ollie's 1st Ride Ever!!! (Can he survive Schaeffer Farms?) 4K

Fantastic highlights and lowlights from a complete newbie to mountain biking (MTB). NYC-Ollie was optimistic with high expectations. My expectations were a lot lower based on my experiences with other newbies. Despite rolling off the trail and into a thorn bush, losing control in a creek and riding the bike like a wild bronco, and some minor stumbles, NYC-Ollie rode like a champ! He tackled many difficult sets of roots while going uphill, succesfully went through other stream crossings, over bridges, and most impressively of all he tackled the bigger Whoops trail at Schaeffer Farms!! He was true to his word - as he never gave up.
People who don't ride and have just watched videos of bikers who do huge drops and jumps have no idea how difficult biking through the woods with its normal ups and downs can be. It takes endurance as well as some skill.
The slick part of this video is just under 9 minutes and provides an excellent and enjoyable packaged view of a first rides highs/lows. The Bonus Footage is another 10 plus minutes of raw clips in which you can see and hear more of NYC-Ollie's struggle to tackle the challenges and finish the grueling 16 mile ride which included over 1,000 feet of elevation gain.
