Was at this game. I am a Canadian but became a Iroquois fan in this tournament as I have never seen them before. The only difference in my mind was the defense and goalie. Canada's defense was solid, they were all over the Iroquois and didn't give them much breathing room. Iroquois was flat footed in defense, they weren't aggressive enough against Canada, and when you give Canada a chance they score. The Iroquois goalie in my mind didn't stand on his head and I can see he already psyched himself out before the game and was nervous. The talent on the Iroquois team is amazing. My son and I managed to grab autographs from about 10 of them at the US game, and they were the most humble, gracious polite group of guys we have met. They were incredible. As far as I am concerned when you look at the population the Iroquois team was chosen from compared to 300 million US and 43 million in Canada., it just goes to show you how talented this Iroquois team truly is. They are number one!! Thank you Iroquois for making my sons and my experiance together memorable.

I only played on turf when I was 7-9 years old. Then we would just play on non-flooded hockey rinks, right on the concrete, until I was 18. Such a tough sport
You guys commenting on the goalie play are hilarious. You're watching highlights for cryin' out loud, what do you expect to see, a bunch of saves and no one scoring? It's like looking at hoops highlights and asking if anyone ever misses. It's tough to score in this game, it's a small cage (4 by 4 vs 6 by 6 in the field game), goalie takes up a lot of space and you have to find a small opening to get it by him. Goalies make tons of saves in this game. Am lucky to have had the world games played right nearby in the previous tournament. Watched a lot of it, it's a great game, takes a lot of skill and endurance.
To be fair, Iroquois have less of a player pool to choose from - But they're basically born with a lacrosse stick Canada its the nation *summer* sport and 5/10 white males growing up play both lacrosse and hockey but choose one or the other so the player pool is much larger Still was a good game to watch
Step in a box net and youd get fucking dogged on. Watch a full game not highlights. The shooters are not the same as field players by even a little bit.

an average goalie makes around 50-80 saves a game
if these goalies didn't save anything then the score would've been like 100-90
