      MJOLNIR-ARMOUR/EGYPTIAN-POWER ARMOUR/POWER-ARMOUR-COOLANT-SYSTEM/VENTILATION-SYSTEM
      A Egyptian power armour will need small, twin ventilation and coolant system. These will be outfitted near the shoulder [blades] of the wearer/user. They will resemble large, bulky protrusions (like twin backpacks) that system from the shoulder area, as though they were wings. This complex ventilation system is what makes the power armour comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Like the life support system, the ventilation and coolant system will need to be monitored and regulated by an in-built Ai system.
      Update (08/03/2022): I wonder if slime-mold [technology] can be utilized to optimise the efficiency of the ventilation system, i.e. to integrate a thin suit-made of living slime mold (if successful, this would also help to minimise weight of the power armour, thus aiding and ensure that energy is spent elsewhere). The slime-mold suit will need to make contact with the wearer/user; where it can conduct heat and other biological waste (such as sweat, and potentially dead blood cells from a bleeding wound) away from the user, and expel it near the air-ducts or any other preferred location.
      NOTE: Egyptian power-armour will combine the functionality of a thin space suit (like that seen in "space X's space suit"), a basic medical, life support system and monitors, and finally a knights suit of armour. The suit will electronic, and obviously computerized (assisted by a combination of AI systems). When it action, it will be somewhat fluent, and capable of making fluid action and movement, despite being a robotic suit (LLMs that are dedicated to mimicking natural body moment in fluid motion will comprise the majority of the suit's AI output). Lastly, the suit will need to be water resistant (water resistant spray, that is difficult to chip and wear out after extended usage will be preferred), and its ventilation system will be integrated with a small filtration system. This will make the suit resistant to poison or environments with airborne, hazardous substance.
      NOTE: A tough plastic material should be utilised on the exterior of the [Egyptian] power-armour. While being weather resistant and durable, its primary pose will be to give the power armour form (so that it looks futuristic and formidable-further adding to its ability to function as a deterrence), as well as double as additional shock-absorption/shock-dampener. The material will then need to be painted with metallic paint, so as it give it a metallic aesthetic in its composition (deceit/material mimicry).

      I'd like Chief to have his "Warrior in a Garden" moment. I wish Microsoft had given him a happy ending at this point, mostly because he's just so tired (conceptually and literally). 4 was a perfect place to end on for him, they just needed to go *a little bit further* with it. He wouldn't have been caught in all their messy writing that came afterwards, too.
      If they had retired him and focused on some of the side content (like the books), and started over with a new Spartan 3/4, maybe their games wouldn't have been so harshly disliked.

Because living in the barracks and eating at the chow hall isn’t free. Now you can apply to leave the bricks and get housing at the rank of E-4(rarely does that happen unless the bricks are full) mainly at E-5 do they allow this more. And in doing so you get all your BAH and BAS. So long as you choose to not live in on base housing as you will lose all BAH even if you have a house that is lower in cost compared to what you get in BAH i.e. if your house on base is let’s say $1500 a month and you get $2000 for BAH you lose that extra $500.

And given that the Spartan program is also more public Chief should be entitled to reenlistment bonuses and if we use the modern day bonuses of select special warfare groups that bonus can range from $80,000-$100,000.

Like, do Spartans have any legal rights outside of the military? I’m still skeptical about whether or not Spartans actually are paid, and whether or not they can actually retire. I’m aware of Maria and Randall, but those two were exceptions, not the rule. And yes, I know they don’t know any life outside the military, and are unlikely to choose to retire, but if they did choose too, how many Spartans would ONI really allow to leave, given what they all know?

Officially they make XYZ amount, maybe there is an even an account open somewhere with money theoretically sitting there in their name, but more realistically, they'll never spend it, and the assets are most likely just recycled into the Spartan program or if you want to be more grim about it, perhaps even embezzled by some folks in power. I mean, maybe this amount of money is chump change to ONI. But in a universe where essentially the CIA and the Military are fighting for funding, I have trouble believing they'd let perfectly good money go to waste, and I do think they'd see it as a waste.

  • @crimsonmonke
    @crimsonmonke 5 месяцев назад +3

    Chief probably wouldn't get BAS or BAH because he lives on base and has food provided to him. However, he would receive additional pay like special duty pay, jump pay, demo pay, hazard pay, and tax free for his deployments in combat zones.
    Also with the way the the navy works he would have to wait 6 months before he starts getting payed for each rank he makes, because those 6 months are considered a probationary period.

  • @commanderrazor
    @commanderrazor 4 месяца назад +1

    An excellent shot at trying to get an idea of Chief's backpay, definitely a nigh impossible thing to suss out given the sheer amount of unknowns! There'd also be re-enlistment bonuses (NCOs will reup every few years if they keep deciding to stay in), Imminent Danger Pay (which can be collected concurrently with Hazard Pay), travel pay (for PCSing between duty stations), Jump Pay (keeping your airborne qual gives you a little bit), sea duty pay (space deployment pay in Chief's case), sniper school pay, dive training pay, language cert pay, and a bunch of other little things that can add up.
    So Chief is likely a good deal more loaded than even the damn good attempt that came up with a bit over $4 million.

  • @shotgunsquid632
    @shotgunsquid632 4 месяца назад +1

    Theres actually a few things you've missed in the video, such as the TSP, which is basically a military savings plan, and that theres more than just hazard pay that youd get for the work he does such as hardship, activecombat zone,and even special forces pay since spartans are pretty much the navy seals of their time. Theres probably a couple otherthings that i cant think of now, but otherwise a damn good video man, keep it up!

If he would retire the UNSC should take care of everything needed for him to live the rest of his life with no problems. To survive as an interstellar civilisation humanity would definitely have to evolve beyond current Capitalism. The abundance of space immediately kills market prices since there's so much raw material and you have so much automation.

    Congress votes on a general cost of living adjustment every year (tends to average around 2-3% a year). So potentially much more if you factor the year over year increases to base pay.
    Plus another layer is that depending on where you are deployed, your pay for that month is tax free.
