Oh Wow Kylie!!! You must be still drooling over your finds!!! What a lovely haul of old and wonderful items that you will be able to use in your crafting. I scour my local op shops and occasionally find that 'something special'!! But this is just beyond awesome!!! So many wonderful items in those two boxes to put to good use at some point. I am just so excited for you...... as I know how much you love 'old stuff'!!! And the newspaper pages.... wow!!!
And you know I love the old newspapers too. I got some of those Arithmatic too. I love those little Bonnie books. Yes, pack 'em. I love kids book and I am working on a good way to use them but yes I remember these illustrations From the 2nd box, I love the green book with the Logarythms, I think thats what they are called, rows of numbers. Now that watercolour Rooster...I love it! You gotta tell me who they are.. lol. I will like the tools for wood workers. My fave Poppa was a carpenter. He quite often got me to soften his wood putty. Nice memories. I have had a Vauxhal in my life on two occasions. I have a soft spot for them. That tool wrap would make a great cover for a 'Man Cave' journal for a visitors or anecdote book, using pages from the male work place manuals, etc. My mind is boggling. lol. Great haul. loved it.
Awesome purchases Kylie. 😊 I love love the Atlas in the first box - it is fabulous.🙂 You are lucky to get so many for only $20. 😊 I decided that evn though I could bid, the postage would be way too much to Adelaide. 😏
What a lovely haul and I think the prices were fantastic! What treasures! I wouldn’t be able to take apart that little leather book either. However what a great idea to make a little journal like it. TYFS your goodies!
Lovely old books, thanks for sharing😘. First Aid in English is not literally first aid. It’s a quick reference for when you get stuck writing/speaking English, thus “first aid”.

These are great finds...Loved visiting with something more than your hands!
Thanks Carol, you’ll be seeing more of me these days as my new studio allows for different camera set ups
Great books! I love auctions too! It's so fun to go through everything and find unexpected treasures! Good luck on the next one!
There’s just something about going through box lots, you never really know what you’re going to find

Yeah definitely Kay, it gives my heart palpitations just thinking about how much it would cost to get a box of books from Ballarat to Adelaide
