    In my world I have bone devils going around as like Contract brokers. They make sure that both sides fulfill what is written. They disguise themselves as like the tall lanky pale figures, think Slenderman but with a face, always carrying around a briefcase with the appropriate paperwork. That was just a cool idea I have that hasn’t really come up yet.

    Hey Brian and William,
    I just wanted to say last night that I had a puppy that was having real issues and wasn't sleeping properly. I went into podcasts and put this episode on and she drifted off almost immediately. This way I get to enjoy all the wonderful dnd content and I get a sleeping puppy overnight. An absolute win and you both have my undying gratitude and Will definitely be sorting out a patreon sub in the near future.

    Keep up the awesome work guys. If Demogorgon is the official demon lord of the show, we are cultists😁
    Hope there is a Queen of Chaos vid in the future 😊

    Sting did the Soundtrack for Emperor's New Groove. He was hired on back when it was called Kingdom of the Sun and they had to restart the production from scratch getting rid of all the songs he wrote. His wife also made a documentary about it called the Sweatbox.

      Yeah, it was Phil Collins who did the Tarzan soundtrack (and it *slapped* tbh)

    I mean the brimstone angel series outright has the leader of the Erinyes being demoted into a succibus by Glasya. More than that Asmodeus became an actual, legitimate, deity during the first few days of the Soellplague ( he ate Azuth after the god of spells was tricked into kill Mystra) and the ascension warped the Erinyes into heavy horned and hooved with no wings. These are even the same Erinyes used in the neverwinter mmo

    I like the idea that Erinyes are fallen angels but can be made from other devils ONLY by Zariel because she herself is a fallen angel archfiend

    Man I love this show but I'd love it if we could get through one video without Brian starting an entire, unrelated soliloquy about a different game just because he sees/hears something that's ever so vaguely similar. I'm curious why you guys don't cut those bits out. I'm here for DnD, not Cuphead.

    • @izsoawesomeFCC

      Idk man i like the comparisons he makes alot of the time and it reminds me of some people who ive played with that like to interject like that when the dm is lore dumping

    • @patrickbrellenthin7898
      @patrickbrellenthin7898 2 года назад

      @@izsoawesomeFCC So, when the DM is dumping lore. You - instead of paying attention to the lore provided about the world you are expected to immerse into - would rather listen to a comparison of something completely outside of and unrelated to your game?
      Cool. I bet your dm just "loves" you and your friend as players.

    • @izsoawesomeFCC
      @izsoawesomeFCC 2 года назад +1

      Yeah sometimes it helps other players make whats happening or a backstory that another player has or a npcs motivations more meaningful even if we are getting red herringed. A table member comparing something to another book, game, or song that most or all of the table knows if kept brief is a valuable addition for almost all but the most dead serious grimdark settings and in those cases that player can be simply asked to be serious this campaign. Dnd is about being a group of friends who want to tell a story together and a dm that shuts this player down for all of the campaigns he runs will end up making that player and possibly other players less interested overall in their dm style

    • @patrickbrellenthin7898
      @patrickbrellenthin7898 2 года назад

      @@izsoawesomeFCC you're convincing no one. Sounds like you and your friends are just being mad disrespectful to the work and effort that your dm spends creating and detailing a world and story for you and your party. The parts of the story that you as players create are your actions and interactions with the world and characters around, not the side conversations that happen amongst the players.

    • @izsoawesomeFCC
      @izsoawesomeFCC 2 года назад +3

      It may be like that for situations like adventurer's league or for a table of people new to dnd but ive been playing with the same group for years and we rotate dms regularly to give prep time for other campaigns so although over the years we've critiqued many things there has not been a single time comparisons between the game and some other medium was a problem, we have had to tell people no talking about work or other subjects after dice come out because we are trying to play a game and have fun, i dont want or need to convince you because this is just a perspective that works for some not all groups but you seemed to see this as the wrong way to dnd rather than an alternate and valid way to dnd
